Listening to all of the national guys the only analysis is whether Texas can score and get explosive plays. No one is making any mention about the Texas defense and what Biles and the crew have done last two weeks and really most of the season. I’ve heard talk about all of these other defenses this week and none of them mention the Texas defense. Somehow this defense is still under the radar to a degree.

Historically the committee values head to head wins above quality or strength of losses.

Um. Lanning just lost to an Ok State team that lost to Tulsa and then followed it up with a home loss against UCLA. He also hasn’t gone to two CFO semifinals like Sark has despite an elite roster. Not sure you’d want to have him on your list.

Not that I disagree with some of the takes. This offense has certainly been disappointing with far too many mistakes, missed reads, and self-inflicted penalties. But, this thread reads like the team is 0-4 and Charlie Strong level bad.

As good as Ole Miss was in the pass game their defense was very mediocre.

I think this group of playmakers on their 2-deep from RB, WR, and DB is the most limited I can remember at OU. Including last year. However the OL and DL looks extremely good. I do think that defense takes a step back at edge rusher this year however.

A 215 lb, 5-star WR that runs sub 10.2 is worth every possible effort you can make. Regardless of what the end result is you do whatever you can to keep him.

This is a crazy take considering how good Harper and Castle were this series at various points especially given their age. I think the last 3-4 games of the series an argument could be made that Harper was the best player for the Spurs. Top 3 things for the Spurs is to add 3 point shooting, add veteran depth, and for Wemby to get stronger and develop a go-to move in the post.

For Notre Dame, no doubt they are bringing back a ton of production and experience. However, they leaned so much on Love this year and the QB never had to go win a game on his own when Love was in his backfield. We won’t know until next year if he truly has that in him. We can think we know but until we see it that’s a massive unknown.

With Moore is it Texas not wanting him back if he decided to stay in school? Or is it Moore not wanting to come back to Texas?

The only people the look and aesthetics of this facility are designed to cater to are ages 16-22. So, it doesn't really matter what the majority of this board thinks.

The correct placement would have been for Texas to move up as many spots as A&M moves back. Which would have put Texas at 12.
