  2. Florida leaving one stranded as well. 0-0
  3. Jonah Williams had tape on the back of his right hamstring. But he was a full participant for the practice.
  4. Get your fluids for the first two home games. The right kind of fluids.
  5. Of course, a lot of conversation about the centerfield fence and batter's eye. Right now, Texas is not expected to explore alternate destinations for the regional tournament. Workers are on the field currently, working to rebuild the foundation of the centerfield fence. I would imagine Texas goes the route of a windbreaker fence rather than a fully constructed batter's eye. Fortunately, the grounds crew staff has some experience in this with the batters eye folding in half last spring.
  6. Texas Baseball is practicing this morning ahead of a Friday regional opener against Houston Christian at 1:00 p.m. at the Disch. Jim Schlossnagle, LHP Luke Harrison and SS Jalin Flores will speak with the media. As per typical, some notes will be posted in the comments down below.
  7. Texas gets one hit but three SO to go down top of the first.
  8. Texas leaves one stranded, 0-0 as we goto bottom of the first.

  10. Grounds crew should have been more prepared, unreal.
  11. Truly need a lot more manpower and machinery to get the fence completed. This looks like an initial clean up so far.
  12. If you need a primer before the game, Texas' Leighann Goode joined @Rod Babers and @Jeff Howe last night to talk the Horns in the WCWS.
  13. Is there a way to tell when they’d play if they make CWS? Or do they wait until the field is set before finalizing game times?
  14. The Longhorns and Gators get things going from OKC at 11 a.m. on ESPN.
  15. Very surprised the batter's eye cannot be restored in full. Lack of materials? 🤷🏻‍♂️
  16. The plan is to get a full fence and as much of a batters’ eye as possible for the outfield by game one.
