  1. Past hour
  2. I did not think it would be that quick, but it was probably a mercy killing. Good old Petrino back.
  3. There it is. I thought they would wait another game or two for his buyout to drop but either way even Ray Charles could see this coming.
  4. Arkansas has fired head coach Sam Pittman according to Pete Thamel. Offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino has been named the interim.
  5. Elko is one Big Mac and one reporter question from a massive coronary lol
  6. And then VT goes on the road and beats a 3-1 NC State team. Good on you, Hokies players!
  7. Today
  8. Didn’t they acknowledge after the Florida game he was playing through something? Then proceeded to play him 3 quarters against a FCS school the next weekend. Very strange.
  9. There is something off with that guy. Damn.
  10. Joe Z is injecting this into his veins
  11. He legitimately might be hurt.
  12. The next few weeks of Texas football will be big in defining whether our offense (with all our starters back and Arch playing more consistently) is a Top 10 offense to match our Top 5 defense. Arch, CJ, Tre, DMo, Mosley, Parker, Wingo, Endries, etc. If the OL can be good (don’t have to be great with Arch’s ability to move in pocket), lots of things need to improve but reason to believe. Look forward to the journey. Bottom line, with everyone getting healthy…….that’s a $h!+ ton of talent for the Horns offense at all the skill positions and we should be scoring 40 pts/game. If that happens, other SEC top teams will keep knocking each other off as our trajectory takes us to a Top 5 ranking by Nov and the SeC Championship Game. Hoping for sustained good health and positive steps each week over the next 2 months, leading up to Georgia and A&M games. Hook em!! 🧡🐂🤘🏼
  13. Never understood the Allar and Nuss hype. I bet LSU would be a way better offensive team under Van Buren.
  14. I think Arch is going to be fine if he gets out of his own head. When he's in rhythm, I wouldn't trade him for anyone. He's a high ceiling guy that maybe overthinks things a little.
  15. The SC defense is Swiss cheese gave up over 500 years to Illinois. Only reason why it was close was Illinois fumble twice near the end zone. Did you watch the game? Illinois punted 1 time they either scored each on each possession or fumbled near the SC goal line
  16. Agreed, I think Ole Miss will jump ahead of us and potentially even Bama. Oregon, A&M, and OU slide forward with Penn State, Georgia, LSU sliding back a few spots. I’m guessing we don’t move or even move back. I’m not hoping for it, just how I see the over reactions playing out.
  17. I told everyone over here that it was a bad decision to come back after losing your two bookend tackles. I’ll assume if this was still the non NIL era he would’ve left. I’m sure once Underwood decomitted Nuss had them by the short and curlies and got paid.
  18. He’s not going to get fired because they will owe him like 80 million still
  19. I didnt think the expectations were too lofty I just think the pressure got to him early and is a part of his maturation process. Generally when a guy over performs we say he will regress to the mean. In Archs case it was the opposite. You dont dominate and flash like he did if you don't have IT. Arch is progressing to his mean and should steadily reach a trajectory even higher than any QB Texas has had since VY.
  20. Texas should move back up into the top 10. But some dumb AP voter who probably doesn’t even know Texas was on a bye last week will vote to not move them up
  21. That 4th down play call from Bobo was almost as bad as the toss sweep sark called on the goal line vs Ohio state. It had no chance from the time the ball was snapped. But then again, a gamble on 4th down is what ole miss did to put LSU away.
  22. Shake up in the top 10 coming. 4 L's - Penn St, LSU, Georgia and FSU
  23. I’ve seen some clips on fans in the stands last night chanting “fire franklin”. Last night was his opportunity to prove everybody wrong. A white out at night. A first year starter to gameplan against. He had everything on the line and while he fought back down 17-3, it’s still the same result . If he doesn’t beat Ohio st this season I think the fanbase turns on him completely. You see how our fanbase gets angry thinking about sarks record against elite coaches, Penn state fans have been going through that for YEARS
  24. Garrett N. rough one for him. Just so late and inaccurate Saturday, when they needed him to play very well... on road against quality opponent, and with Caden Durham out.
  25. Dante Moore is very good Coaches not taking the points is now my forever pet peeve in football. F the analytics. The sport needs coaches to start coaching more with game management sense again. It's really bad right now.
