What if our defensive backs had tackled Michael Crabtree?

And if a frog had wings he wouldn’t bump his ass when he hops. What if Dallas hadn’t fired Jimmy Johnson, what if Colt doesn’t get hurt against Bama, what if the BCS got it right in 2008 and we play FL not OU. What if there was a playoff in the 2000’s? The one constant here Billy is that outside of 1998 TAMU hasn’t sniffed a conference championship. Marinate on those maybes.

Has me wondering if we'll lose any recent coaching additions. Nothing ever stays the same.

How much does this shake up Georgias defense next year?

CFP Committee Announces 2026 Schedule

This is completely ridiculous. If the quarterfinals aren't until the end of December, the teams with byes are once again going to have a full month off before playing their first playoff game. CFP just can't get anything right. -

We might start to see them take fewer offensive lineman out of the high school ranks and rely more on the portal for guys that are more experienced and have already developed. Unless they start to put more restrictions on transfer portal/NIL, it’s hard to see offensive lineman, sticking around in the same program and develop for three or four years to wait for an opportunity.

I see this a lot on several Message Boards. It's Dominant!

Ef espn for dictating the CFP schedule. -
Good question. There plenty of pieces to work with when it comes to the younger players in the OL room. it's all about extracting the most out of the tools, and right now I think you see a good crop of toolsy players. This is where development and weight training come in to be the most important part of their development. To your point, had Texas taken two top 100 guys from the in-state last year, Felix Ojo would have been the guy next to Turntine. I like the idea of finding the athletic guy you build over years of development. Kaden Scherer fits that. John Turntine fits that. Nic Robertson fits that. Texas will continue to hunt big game on the OL, as we have seen in previous cycles, while also exploring the longer developing prospects. Five wouldn't be a surprise given the 3 in 2026, and growing scholarship numbers.

Way too long, need to get the NFL model going. One week post season then on Saturday through semis and a week off before national championship game. This is just such a sh&t show scheduling these games at bowls.
