  1. Past hour
  2. Preseason Heisman odds are worthless, base on eventual winners.
  3. You probably right, but following the Mississippi judge's ruling Major sportsbooks, including FanDuel and BetMGM, have quickly updated their 2026 Heisman Trophy odds to reflect his eligibility. Chambliss, who finished 8th in the 2025 voting, enters the preseason as a top-tier candidate. Julian Sayin +400 Arch Manning +700 Trinidad Chambliss +1200 Jeremiah Smith +1300
  4. You are 100% right about using the WB. I should have said started with Street at the beginning of the season.
  5. Agreed about Street and the wishbone. QB's weren't used the same then as the are now. Duke Carlisle won our first natty in '64. There were a couple who played that season. Bradley was a true DB. He earned All SWC honors that year. Played something like 12 years with the Eagles afterwards. Just to clarify, we tied UH 20-20. I went to the game. Imagine 14-8 yo kids sitting in the bleachers alone while their parents sat in stadium seats today. Lost to tech, and won out. I'm a nerd about that era due to my real awakening to college football and our beloved Longhorns!
  6. Will there be any coverage starting Friday for the baseball season?
  7. Consensus seems to be he'd likely be drafted much higher in 2026 than 2027 given the limited number of top quality QBs coming out in '26. Basically a huge drop off after Mendoza to Ty Simpson to ?. In '27 the big dogs right now look like some combo of Dante Moore, Arch, Julian Sayin, Sam Leavitt, maybe LaNorris Sellers or Mensah if he lights it up at Miami, and of course whoever takes an unexpected big leap (Mateer? Stockton? Maiava? TBD?).
  8. QBs are over drafted to the NFL pretty often. I'm still puzzled the Colts took Anthony Richardson as high as they did a few years ago. I bet Chambliss is a 2nd round pick at worst if he gets drafted in a couple of months.
  9. This seems pretty open and shut. Take your ass to the NFL
  10. Today
  11. Well, sort of here. 😂
  12. So Thompson is the only Texas portal export to get an invite?
  13. Ya maybe, leave the j in lower case. Just a thought.
  14. Life is hard and no fun after college. He can go have fun and not worry about bills and dealing with other grown folk things.
  15. Texas will be a lock at 9-9 barring a bunch of conference tournament upsets
  16. I wouldn't, but just me. His floor spacing requirement is a key part of the offensive success of Texas. Opponents game plan to not let him get clean looks, so he's defended out to 25 feet. He's a double figure scorer on average for two years running in the SEC, and plays to his role.
  17. Judge went to univ miss law school. Just sayin
