  1. Past hour
  2. I'll go with Baugh or someone as close to him as we can get. After watching Indiana yesterday and Georgia all year, I'm convinced that a power running game will get us to another level.
  3. We’ve had GREAT receivers come in and take more than half the season to truly learn the offense and then get rolling. Cam Coleman would be no different. The 2026 schedule is not one to use as a “learning,” year.
  4. Uhhh, @Bobby Burton, I think the thread has been infiltrated by a robot.
  5. Cam Coleman is just a much better player than him. It's not really close either.
  6. I second Scudero! I think he will be really good for someone next year!
  7. Well since the portal entrants overall are mediocre at best, the simple answer is going with a guy who doesn’t need a year to learn the offense. Parker Livingstone.
  8. The linebacker from Auburn. Position is super light on numbers. And unless Ty Smith puts on some good weight, we need another thumper with experience to play the run the entire season.
  9. Za’Lance Heard. Too expensive for the value he provides our team though.
  10. Scudero. I don't like most of the linemen in the portal right now. i feel like he provides a different skillset than what we have and we know he can play because he did fine against us.
  11. Coleman. Easy answer, but its the right answer. If you stack up every player in the portal, he is probably the most special player at his position.
  12. Any OL with a pulse
  13. I might be in the minority here, but I’m going with the Arkansas DT. There just aren’t that many massive, space-eating DTs that can move well walking the face of the earth. I have no doubt that we will find really really good players at IOL, WR, RB, LB, and secondary. But there aren’t too many guys like him who can add exactly what Texas needs at a critical position of need.
  14. I agree. Barnes, Smith, and Atkinson is an excellent start. Need another vet maybe starter level. Would like to see Spence stay at edge. The Michigan running game misdirection had him lost in the sauce off ball.
  15. If you could wave a magic wand and Texas get ONE specific player that’s in the portal… who would it be? Only one. They have to be in the portal/have announced their intentions to enter the portal Who yall taking? Who helps Texas the most?
  16. I think Spence has a chance to be one of the better LBs in the country next year. He is a good football player and an underrated athlete. Smith, Spence, Barnes, Atkinson, plus portal LBs (two I hope) is a pretty solid group.
  17. Today
  18. I like to imagine, tyanthony and Atkinson, causing all kinds of havoc next year.hook em
  19. I believe it was reported he is gone. But if it isn't official yet, you are correct.
  20. Edit: TEXAS is 1-3 after extended layoffs/bye, DUH, Michigan was a very nice win.

  22. The 2025 Women's Volleyball Thread typically refers to online forum discussions about the 2025 women’s volleyball season, including match updates, rankings, and team news. These threads are found on sites like OnTexasFootball.com or VolleyTalk, where fans discuss NCAA and international volleyball.
  23. So far from yesterday we've got several more Longhorns in the portal (most of you are already aware): WR - Parker Livingstone DL - Lavon Johnson OL - Neto Umeozulu This makes 16 Longhorns in the portal now.
  24. Anyone have flight aware pulled up, anyone in the bushes at the airport, is Gerry disguised as an Uber driver? It’s 5am, we need the inside information.
  25. Rise and shine it’s time for portal mania!
  26. I was at that Cotton Bowl game in 1984 and had a great (?!) view of Craig Curry's muffed punt return. Tight, tense, close game. Curry dropped the punt and the wind left the Longhorns' sails. Couple of plays later and Georgia scored on a running play off Right Tackle that the Texas Defense had been stopping for 3.5 quarters. That loss cost us the National Championship. Hook 'Em! Forever! PS... I was also at the 1991 game and it was a No-Show for Texas, much like the '25 game in Gainesville.
