The Florida game was my favorite this past season. I thought sark and Quinn showed what the ceiling of the offense could be with a mostly healthy squad. I wasn't expecting that dominant of a performance and that reverse play to Bond will forever stand out as a "what just happened?" moment. Other teams even implemented the play at many different competitive levels. I wish they could have kept it rolling like that offensively the rest of the season. Beyond that, Michigan, miss state and the playoffs wins were a lot of fun also.

Looking on twitter and seeing the Texas fans and Ohio state fans going at it because Ohio state wanted to move the game to Sunday night and Texas said no and are sticking to Saturday game. No way Texas and Ohio state cancel the game do they? -
Gerry and Billy L are at the stadium with the yell leaders doing there cult thing now as we speak 😂

Jack Coffee Hays never said anything he didn't do. He's the father of Texas. Watch Woodrow F. Call in Lonesome Dove. Call was based on Hays. Same as my father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He left Goergia to come Texas in 1866.

8-5 teams often perform well in the draft. They had a staggering 3 drafted this year. No one will ever top that.

What would be known as the Comanches broke off from the Shoshones in the 1740s in Wyoming. They moved southeast from what is now Wyoming. Texas John Coffee Hays from Tennessee literally killed them in 1830s and 1840s. Woodraw F. Call in Lonesome Dove was based in Jack Coffee Hays.

I have a book written on the Comanches taking over Texas in 1790 with this as the theme song. Wrote in 1996 when I was 24.

aggy is as aggy does. The bigger the build up. The harder the fall. A recurrent aggy theme.

Greatest year in Texas, American, and world history: 1873. Winchester 1873. Colt Single Action Army 1873.

I'm on the fence of do I want OU going into the RRR undefeated, or do I want them to suffer defeats to Michigan and Auburn (Jackson Arnold) at home. Typing that out, I want the latter to happen. I think the thing that is being overlooked with them are their receiving options. As good as Burks is supposed to be he has not had a eye popping stat season in college, and he had issues dealing with concussions to end the season last year. Javonnie Gibson was looking like another Andrew Armstrong (Arkansas receiver that was drafted), but how will he be coming back from a broken leg. Also BV as a DC creates chaos plays for his defense, but he also creates explosive plays for the offense. It's in the realm of possibility that Mateer has a Manziel like season and propels OU to a playoff spot and gets first round draft pick love. This is the season of hope, and I'm sure most football programs see bright skies in the 2025 season.

10-2 40%? LOL... No They look like a 7-5 team. Their roster is trash.
-
Their roster is full of jags. Their ceiling is likely 8 wins. But probably 7-5.

Not to mention 9 of their 11 2026 commits are from out of state. Nothing wrong with national recruiting but if you are having to find people far enough away from the toxic mess to listen to your pitch, maybe dial back on the wildin' claims! That room KNOWS!!!!
