This is Arch’s redshirt sophomore season. 2007 was Colt’s redshirt sophomore season. That year Texas went 10-3 with losses to K State, OU and A&M and ended with a Holiday Bowl win vs Arizona State. Colt’s stat line that season: 65% passing for 3,305 yards, 22 TDs and 18 Interceptions. We all know how 2008 and 2009 went from there. Maybe we just need to be patient. (Also it would help if Sark had a Jamaal Charles in this backfield.)

I am, but I really did need to say good morning to my voice. First thing I did when I woke up was jump on the Texas forum looking for some consolidation on what happened yesterday. I gotta do better. I’m hoping you’re right Bobby about Texas turning it around offensively. I did have a dream before the season Sark had a shocking loss to OU, and Arch was wearing an SMU jersey. I hope things go well for Arch at Texas. Maybe it was just a dream about a slow start.

Short and medium passing might have to be more stationary (find the hole in the zone and sit), against man attack deep, screen game, or uncovered RB leaking out. Arch is tough which will suit him well.

Thank you for posting. I thought he missed a lot more easy throws last week. This week, you had some misfires but the receivers had a chance to haul it in. I'm going to remain positive and hope Sark looks at what is successful and also hoping getting two starters back on offense (and possibly EM at some point) that we will get in a rhythm. I am not hitting the panic button yet even though I think other teams are playing much better on offense.
