  1. Past hour
  2. COMPLETELY agree on Cooper & Bishop. I personally would like to know what we have with a different QB, G\C/G, and more Cooper & Bishop. Our defense doesn’t need much help. Just a break.
  3. It worked in 2020 when we had Bijan it cost TH his job (along with being an a$$hat) it’ll work again lol. Look at what happened in 2001 when we played DJ and CedB we lost in the big 12 championship after our “starting” QB threw multiple interceptions and was almost rescued by the “back up” if not for a special teams gaffe…man that sounds like a familiar script!
  4. Seems to be par for the course with how everything is going for us lately
  5. Nah. In some ways going to Lacey will fix that too, because Sark will have to make it simpler for him.
  6. The fact we have a QB competition during a natty or bust season says all we need to know about our egomaniac head coach
  7. This "announcement" is literally the worst way this could have been handled The media and everyone under the sun is running wild with this story right now. Desmond Howard is making new selfie videos while taking out his trash. Football social media accounts are already pushing the Arch to transfer to XYZ narratives. They should have either announced KJ as the new starter and ripped the bandaid off, or not addressed it at all. Now the dude is gonna be under even more pressure, scrutiny and stress with every play. Sark just manufactured a QB controversy for himself
  8. Not really ... Arch has represented The U well, so its unfortunate.
  9. High ankle sprain is worse case scenario if this is true but I don't really trust Anwar and his "sources". I'll wait to hear from OTF.
  10. Oh I agree 💯 and I’m not defending arch just calling out my Aggie friend Gerry out is all
  11. Bishop and Cooper have to play too. We seem to be the only program that routinely shelves its best players if they're freshmen.
  12. Disagree. Sark is still the play caller. He’ll have one or two good drives a game and look lost for the rest of it
  13. Controlled environment practice reps are not equal to Saturday reps. You don't know what you have until live bullets are flying. We have a very good idea what we have in Arch. Sark knows this. Reps being 50/50 leads me to believe the decision has been made. Let's see what we have in KJ. Will still be the 1st career start for a QB in the SEC, but are there flashes of being able to sustain an efficient offense?
  14. He just wants the offense to look better so #fireflood sticks around longer
  15. If you look at all the clips going around Arch misses almost every read. It appears Sark has schemed plays for players to be open and work. Not sure if having an OC call different plays helps Arch. He would just miss read those too.. I guess we all opinions at this point... Regardless my bet the wheels are in motion already. I trust our leadership to work it out.
  16. Been thinking about this for a while. I think Sark’s a great head coach and fits like a glove at UT. But he gets talked about like he’s one of the best QB developers in the country, and when you go stop by stop I’m not sure the results back it up. At USC he worked with Palmer, Leinart and Sanchez, but that was Carroll’s program and Norm Chow deserves a lot of the credit for the early years. At Alabama he had Tua and Mac Jones, both first-rounders. But Bama kept producing QBs after he left. Bryce Young went No. 1, Milroe got drafted, and Ty Simpson just went 13th overall. His head coaching stops are a different story. At Washington he had Jake Locker, who went in the first round mostly on physical ability and never turned into much of a passer. At Texas he’s had five-plus years, his own staff, his own recruits and total control of the offense. Ewers came in a five-star and left a seventh-round pick. Arch is still a work in progress. Five-star QBs disappoint everywhere, I get that. Rattler at Oklahoma, Uiagalelei at Clemson, Malachi Nelson at USC. Nobody hits on all of them. But if you’re supposed to be an elite QB developer, shouldn’t you be getting more out of those guys than the average coach does? Kirby’s an interesting comparison. Five stars: Eason, Fields, Daniels and Vandagriff all came through Georgia and transferred, and he still won two titles with Stetson Bennett. Nobody calls Kirby a QB guru, and he’s got an OC running the offense anyway. Sark calls the plays, so whatever happens at QB is on him. Sark can coach quarterbacks, I’m not arguing that. Being a good QB coach and being the QB whisperer he gets sold as are two different things though. At Texas he’s had the time, the money and the control to build exactly what he wants, and the QB play hasn’t lived up to the reputation. At what point do we start judging Sark’s QB development on what he’s done at Texas instead of what he did at USC and Alabama?
  17. That’s how I feel I don’t care if it’s Arch, Kj, Dia, Mj Morris, or Gerry Hamilton playing qb as long as it results in wins
  18. @Gerry Hamilton I say let’s roll with KJ and put Arch back in the 16 wheeler package like he was when Quinn was here. Arch be your short yardage package guy to be your power runner. What’s this teams ceiling with KJ in your opinion?
  19. I'd rather change the play caller. Milwee has called plays before. It's almost certainly the biggest problem.
  20. I don't know if he'll start against Ole Miss or replace Arch in the 1st half, but everything will suddenly improve dramatically once he's in. The o-line and running game will be instantly better. We will all realize the receivers have been open all year. The defense won't be on the field all 2nd half. Get ready
  21. Woah man, this is wrong. CJ's great at his role.
