One of the most underrated players of all time imo. He’s always carried himself with class and been a team first player especially when he made his move to Miami. Sad his career was cut short with the blood clot issues but glad to see he is doing well after hoops.

Good point on pillaging but BV just signed an extension with OU so they're basically forced to right the BV experiment out now. Much more fun to watch those types of situations from afar than to have them in your athletics program. As far as Fasusi, I don't think he has it in him to enter the transfer portal and go to OU's main rival. I also wouldn't expect him to leave Norman as long as OU OL coach Bill Bedenbaugh is there. He chose OU over Texas twice out of HS and took significantly less money each time, and a big part was he wanted to play and get developed by Bedenbaugh, who he had the best relationship with out of all the coaches recruiting him.

That is a huge loss for OU. It looks like they will have plenty of excuses lined up for when we play.

It's fair to ask about him, but calling him a bust is ludicrous. He's a 5th-year transfer blocking TE from Michigan State. We didn't break the bank for him. He was expected depth with starter upside, but Spencer Shannon has improved. If Cam Coleman had 3 catches and 0 TDs, we could talk bust. I think anyone thinking the bust question is fair probably needs to check their own understanding or interpretation of scouting reports on 5th-year transfer TEs from crappy Big 10 programs.

I can remember a lot of years when it was Texas with these injury problems. Knock on wood that this does not happen to UT. 1977 comes to mind when Texas went 11-1 with our third string QB due to injuries to 1 and 2. I really want to see Justus Terry back in action before too long.
