  1. Past hour
  2. I thought it meant from the big10, lol
  3. What’s crazy is Horns beat Bobcats for the first time since 2021 at home.
  4. We dare not mention the name you compared Simmons to. Let that aggie name stay in the cult it spawned from.
  5. Barstool Longhorn posted this: ”Hearing from a student staffer Texas and Sark may be bringing on a BIG name in an “offensive advisor/offensive coordinator” type role.” This may not be the BIGgest name in the wild, but a quick google search tells me David Cutcliffe’s current status is “Retiring from his SEC administrative role effective March 31, 2026.” Pretty freaking clean as timing goes. What do y’all think? Do we finally land the Manning Whisperer and add the final infiniti stone to Sark’s gauntlet? 👀
  6. Oh interesting. Maybe I just remember the few times Goosby got beat more than the times Banks did. I also think some of Banks’ pressures allowed were self-sacks from Quinn 😬 But point taken. Goosby is elite.
  7. Goosby has a pressure rate than Banks did. Banks was 1.9% Goosby is at 1.5%
  8. His stride and frame remind me a bit of Derrick Henry, but he probably has a bit more top-end speed and is less of a punishing downhill runner.
  9. I think Simmons has a more explosive BGO than Parsons. Goosby has the same upside in pass pro as Banks, but (a) I think he’s gotten beat more off the edge than Banks ever did at Texas and (b) Banks is a better run blocker.
  10. Today
  11. What about Wingo?
  12. Arch - Andrew Luck Simmons - Parsons Coleman - Mitchell Goosby - Banks
  13. Kind of random but his coach told me Cooper reminds him of Zack Moss.
  14. haven't seen him play enough go give him a comp. From the tape, he runs like Adrian Peterson
  15. Has there been any comps of Derek Cooper?
  16. I haven't heard anything. I understood the logic of opening with Grubbs, but would have expected Flores over Walls and Walker. Hopefully we have a couple runrule-type games in Columbia and he can get a good inning or two under his belt.
  17. Arch: Andrew Luck Simmons: Von Miller
  18. What do you guys think our star players comps are?
  19. Thank you, Hank! I could not tell if it was his team's blocking or the opposing defense. Do you think Texas is recruiting him as RB2??
  20. I missed this yesterday! Awesome for Gbenda, love to see it.
  21. And he is as advertised, one of the most genuine dudes out there.
  22. Yeah I don't think he's a breakaway speed guy. Can gain chunk yardage though. Texas likes him a lot.
  23. The difference has been how good our 4s have been defending of late. Carlton and Sidberry have really stepped up their defensive attention. When you have all 5 players pressuring passing lanes and attacking any weak dribble action, it's tough to run your offense and have any kind of rhythm. They may make some tough shots, but not with any consistency and that's what we've seen the last couple weeks. Rori sets the tone and she's not as flashy as Hannah Hidalgo but she is similar in the chaos she can cause. But Rori is the better straight up defender taking less big risks and playing better position to challenge shots and take charges. If Rori has her way with UCLA's PGs early, we have great chance to get out to a lead. We're just really good at creating this atmosphere of chaotic pressure but it not being overly risky so the opponents don't get wide open shots if they clear the chaos. I expect immense pressure on Rice and Leger Walker and us to again 3/4 front Betts to make the entry pass tough. The only thing that could derail us is foul trouble. We've been excellent at avoiding that so far and having our rotations maximized.
