A quick peek at some spring sports: men’s and women’s golf have concluded fall golf and both had some strong showings and will enter the spring ranked in the top 5. The men’s team is particularly strong and will push for a natty. Both tennis teams have been competing in singles competition. Similar to golf, both likely top 5 teams with the men’s team being very strong and a natty contender. yesterday swimming and diving faced off against Tennessee. Men’s and women’s teams won handily against the tenn squads ranked 5th and 4th. Texas will be far and away the best SEC team and both of these squads will finish on the podium and push for national championships.

After some confusing CC results last week, our best guess is to go with the updated rankings. Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams are ranked in the top 5 in the south central regional (27ish points) but both are outside the top 2 (automatic qualifier to NCAAS (43 pts minimum). next Friday is sec championships. I’ll check the rankings after that meet but ultimately we will have to keep a close watch on the regional to really know how these two teams finish.

I've never seen a guy that tall, move that well and be that athletic. People make fun of big acting like guards but he still plays like a big, if that makes sense. He's insane.

I'm not sure about a prediction, but Texas hasn't scored more than 21 against P4 opponents this year. 7 against Ohio State, 21 against Florida, 16 against OU and 13 against Kentucky (excluding the OT FG). Miss State lost 23-21 last week to Florida and Shapen missed a few passes that would've gotten them into FG range or gone for TD's. Now, In saying all that I'm going with 25-13 Texas. They might not score a bunch of TD's but I think special teams and D can help them out with field position.

Texas is gonna have to score more than 16 this week to have a chance. That’s all I got. I actually don’t like PK versus the Briles O.

In his second game, he had 29 pts, 11 rebounds, a steal, and 9 BLOCKS (should’ve had 10) a near 30 pt triple double

then the next play he did a crossover size up 3 point splash plus the and 1😭

Didn’t he have the best portal class in cfb last year? Not like he’s winning with scrubs. Conventional wisdom was he underachieved last year.
