...it's important to have our legends, both players and coaches around the program. VY is a hero to many. The players and their parents revel in his presence. Sark is confident and self assured enough to understand why it's important to be welcoming, unlike other coaches we have had. CDC also rolls out the welcome mat to our former players. We have the best athletic administration in our history right now.

He has to be doing a bit.. No one can be these miserable. Well unless he is an aggy which would make sense.

Similar to a poem Marv Levy, who just celebrated his 100th birthday, said best described the mentality of his Bills teams. He once said it was from a book of poetry his mother gave him when he enlisted in the Army. https://youtube.com/shorts/-M-obBl1BQA?si=dxI5i9rRiG27Vcrm

Helpful for the Arch injury conspiracy theorists
jkates replied to Orngblud05's topic in On Texas Football Forum
He's clearly not injured. Some folks want to find something to either make an excuse or feel like they discovered the secret. It's hard to be patient, but we must be willing to let an inexperienced QB grow on the job. Sure, he's not a freshman, but he hasn't played much until now. He'll be fine.- 1 reply

This was a part of the broadcast intro Saturday, BEFORE the game started. I’ve zoomed in but the stands are all orange so clearly a home game which would mean this was from last year. It’s just something he does.

Week Two: Charting The Passes (SJSU) - Manning/Caldwell
Thanos72 replied to Blake Munroe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Hi Blake. Am I reading this right? Arch could have been 23/30 without drops/wr error? 63% vs 76% seems encouraging. Do they define drops? -
I'd say so. Okie Lite needs to get on the NIL train and fast or they'll be left behind.

3 Stars of the Game vs. San Jose State (2025 W2)
CJ Vogel replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Two straight weeks where Michael Taaffe is probably the next guy up. Taaffe has led Texas in tackles each week of the season so far, yet still waiting for that splashy big time play that creates a turnover or negative play. Regardless, a strong start to the season for the veteran safety.- 1 reply

Please feel free to add your picks for players with big performances. *** 3 Stars of the Game vs. San Jose State Star #1: WR Parker Livingstone Four receptions, 128 yards, two touchdowns. Statistically, the box score looks great for Parker Livingstone, and what is funny is his most impressive reception of the day was called back due to penalty. What was most encouraging was the trust in the red zone to go directly to Livingstone on the slant. Really impressive day for Livingstone. Star #2: LB Anthony Hill Jr. Creating two turnovers in a single game is definitely worth a spot on the three stars of the game list. But even beyond that, I thought Hill was disruptive up front – three pressures accredited and a couple of run stops to his name. This is the Hill Texas fans expect to see from sideline to sideline on the field. Star #3: TE Jack Endries Only two receptions for Endries, but both go for touchdowns and a combined 52 yards. It was great to see the designed plays for Endries, in fact I want to see more and more and more as the season continues, but right now, there are positives in regards to his growing rapport with Arch Manning. On top of the pass game, Endries was a plus in the run game as well. HM1: Maraad Watson – Unbelievable pass rush up the middle from Maraad Watson on Saturday. Was credited with 1.5 sacks on Saturday. HM2: TyAnthony Smith – A forced fumble and an additional tackle for loss with six tackles added to the tally. Strong showing for the young LB.

Florida? Really?
Dread-headed Texan replied to Dread-headed Texan's topic in On Texas Football Forum
It's more what USF did that we could replicate rather than who they lost to. Lagway just isn't seeing it and I know our defense will make him second guess what he's seeing. Offensively Sark better not run Arch like USF did, but we will be able to lean on them a little bit. The front line guys on the D-line are good, but after them there's a steep drop, be it due to youth or inexperience. We need Baxter to get about 15 tough carries to open things up for Wisner.
