Texas is back in Austin and returned to the practice field on Monday morning following the season opener in Columbus against Ohio State. Steve Sarkisian will meet with the media around 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by a handful of Texas Longhorns as they put to rest the discussion about the season opener and prepare for the first home game of the season against San Jose State on Saturday.

OTF Premium Thoughts on Arch Manning

The classic save the good stuff for playoffs. There is always some version of this in Texas history….”saving it for OU” “saving it for after OU” “saving it for Aggie” etc. -
3 Stars of the Game vs. Ohio State (2025 W1)

Absolutely. Tight end room has a great future outlook. -
Aggy's only contribution being a comment about Texas was quite accurate. We got off fairly light imo and as expected they slayed Bama.

Endries and Townsend could make a good duo if Townsend can pick up the play book quick enough. -

Thanks for posting. It makes you wonder, in hindsight, was this just nerves or is it why Sark wasn't comfortable putting Arch in last year despite Ewer's mobility? Is it why they took a veteran QB in the portal that seemed like a head-scratcher to some when it initially happened? Is it partially why the gameplan going into the OSU game was less complex than we expected? I'm not saying the answer to all of these questions is "yes", but it's just interesting how additional facts make things start to look different.
