  1. Past hour
  2. Upside: they won’t get away with it again anytime soon. Like three weeks from now!
  3. Bielema is on my mount Rushmore of most punchable faces in college football. Dabo. Freeze. Pat Mcaffee. Indiana coach may parlay himself into a bigger job.
  4. Still stunning to me we didn’t portal an Olineman or two. Honestly everything put a good taste in my mouth but that position and maybe Niblett in the return game. They are going to be greatly tested in the next two weeks by Fla and OU. Good thing Arch can run.
  5. People forget how bad Vince’s first season was. Vince didn’t turn it around until his 4th and 17 play against Kansas midway through his redshirt sophomore season.
  6. Some guys just need more time to grow up. I bet the change of scenery to upstate NY where no one heard of him did him some good.
  7. Part of the goal of high school athletics is to teach sportsmanship. Postgame interaction with the opposing team is part of that.
  8. I’ve been thinking a lot about early VY the last couple weeks. He was awful early on. Adjustments had to be made and it paid off…
  9. It took Mack Brown time to get the best out of Vince; it may be the same way with Arch. As Sark said, Arch is less like Peyton or Eli and more like his grandfather. Arch needs to run some and make off schedule plays. He needs to show his emotions, the team feeds off it. Arch’s issues arise when he tries to be robotic. Let Arch be Arch.
  10. Ou did a modified version of hideout which you can’t do in today’s game with the sub rule. They knew it and practiced it. Can’t believe Stoops was dumb enough to say they worked on it in practice. Surprised as a former coach he had that slip of the tongue.
  11. In my opinion they are bs. And when you don’t do it in a line, they aren’t lineups, are they? They seek out other players, often friends and former teammates, and wish them well, just like they do in college.
  12. That was the worst officiated game of the year to this point. The reversal of the Auburn scoop and score was inexplicable. Guy clearly had possession before the fumble. The later ruling of a catch inside the five that set up a TD for the criminals was egregious too. Receiver clearly didn't have possession in bounds. That's 21 total points!
  13. Good stuff Jeff. Awesome way to finish non-conf play, going into the bye with lots of positive momentum. Excited for Arch and the receivers who looked much more in rhythm.
  14. No, a general statement about our collective weakness. I was just using football as an example.
  15. So, nothing to do with the team or staff. Gotcha.
  16. What I mean is there are problems we all have that we aren’t always willing to acknowledge are there. Plenty of times humanity is either blind to or dismissive of our own flaws.
  17. Do you feel there are those who are unwilling?
  18. Today
  19. The line ups are not bs. They are intentionally set to show sportsmanship. The Pro’s do it, just not in a line. Basketball players do it. it is a part of life. Be a man and deal with it. Now, if bad things were said by the other team, let that come out as well. it is a bad look either way.
  20. Be forewarned that you drive on the left side of the road in a right hand drive car there. Takes a bit to get used to it. We had an automatic but it would have been really frustrating to have gotten a stick and having to shift with my left hand. on top of that. Also, the country roads are often really only one lane with occasional small pullouts to let oncoming traffic through. Lots of traffic circles/roundabouts there too and that takes a bit getting use to. We did not use a car in Edinburgh, but did when we took of the highlands and the islands. There are some really nice scenic drives in Scotland. We drove the length of Loch Ness on the way to Inverness and were not lucky enough to see Nessie. 😀
  21. Drafted him on my fantasy team. What he was able to do on those cal teams was impressive. Figured he’d take off once in a better system
  22. If I was a long suffering Indiana basketball fan, absolutely!
  23. If Indiana beats Iowa in Kinnick, they will probably make the CFP as long as they take care of business in their games not named Oregon and Penn State. Even against Oregon and Penn State, they must keep it close for the committee to put them in at 10-2. Cignetti is a hell of a coach and is IU football’s version of Bob Knight. I can’t believe I thought IU made a mistake in letting Tom Allen go. This is why I could never be an athletic director lol
