  1. Past hour
  2. I think the strike zone has been shrinking for years. They all vary somewhat though. Lots more power in the bats than used to be. When you have to bring it to the hitters zone, youโ€™ll see more balls hit well. People get worked up over walks, but the hits are what adds those runs up. We only walked 4 tonight. Course SHSU walked 10. Still the homers were impactful and none of them cheap. I think all the guys we ran out can be functional. Winter is not ready to start. Hamilton and Howard got pushed more than theyโ€™re accustomed to pitching. Grubbs run was off a grounder with an exit velocity of about 70. Crossland had the lowest ERA entering today (not including Howard). Walls has a live arm. Bing has some success at this level. In a key game, this sequence will never occur.
  3. I'm starting to wonder about the redistribution of college pitching talent with NIL, but these midweek games on SEC Network + are getting increasingly weird. Or is it SEC umpires creating content ๐Ÿค‘?
  4. Good comeback. Tinney roasts that ball half the time when he hits it. His first HR tonight left the field like a rocket.
  5. There was probably 1 pitcher used tonight who you might see again this weekend. So yes, it was a lot of experimenting.
  6. Tinney lost his eye the last few weeks. Unusual for a Catcher. Glad he has found it again! Mendoza has mostly found his strike zone. Borba looks like he has regained patience and focus at the plate. Now let's hope the relievers throw strikes and Riojas quits leaving breaking balls waist high over the middle of the plate! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฟ
  7. He was awful. The smallest zone I recall all year. On a Tuesday no less when everyone should know front line pitchers arenโ€™t throwing. Now, I guess you could say he was relatively consistent, but thatโ€™s because everything was a ball. Itโ€™s a Tuesday game. Let the overreactions to the pitching staff occur.
  8. Today
  9. Did we throw the entire walk-on bullpen out there tonight or what?! Glad Tunney saved our A$$ tonight!
  10. I am in New Orleans, not far from Gulf Shores. Not in the cards this year but maybe I'll plan to take a beach trip with my family during this week in future years!
  11. Tinney breaking the early season slump has been real nice. Need him hot the remainder of the way.
  12. See I told you that you guys were worrying for nothing. ๐Ÿ˜‚ All you gotta do is believe, it worked for Rudy.
  13. A walkoff homer; now it's time to hit the links! Good night everyone in Texas. It golf time in Thailand!
  14. That was a blast of a Tuesday evening ๐Ÿซ , thanks to @Jeff Howe and all y'all college baseball sickos ๐Ÿค˜
  15. Texas baseball provided plenty of drama tonight! Hookโ€™em
  16. Well Fudge Me!!! Longhorns walk it off!!!! ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿป๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿพ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฟ
  17. No doubter ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ
  18. Carson Tinneyโ€™s two-run bomb to left field gives the Longhorns a walk-off win! FINAL: Texas 15, Sam Houston 14
