We got out physical-ed no question in the first game in Austin, but last night was less physicality in my mind than it was personnel, discipline, and focus. Georgia just has bigger and better players on the line right now. That's not our players not wanting to get in there and fight but it's just they are stronger and tack on the fact we hold on to jerseys too long, it exacerbates the situation. The narrative would be so much different if Auburn would have just made the FG in the SEC championship. People are forgetting we didn't get outplayed in that game even though it was ugly, we should have won that game in regulation.

...three years and that has made a huge difference. It's not easy to replace them. Next year we will be one year older and Arch will be more experienced which bodes well. Our young secondary will be more aware of how to defend the myriad of badass tight ends and receivers in the SEC. Hopefully, we won't give up ten yard cushions! Our offensive line should be more stable too. This latest ass kicking should serve as a great learning experience. I keep the faith. Hook'em!

A&M is starting its 2027 class off tremendously strong. Texas is still in the starting gates.

With 5 losses to Ohio state and Georgia in the last 12 months and with OU, A&M, and Tech most likely all being in the playoff how do we pitch to recruits. I’m not worried about the 2026 class, most recruits seem to be locked in. However looking forward what’s our pitch, we have little to no momentum. Ohio st and Georgia can pitch they dominate us. Tech and A&M are putting a better product on the field as well as having heavy NIL. I see these schools getting way ahead in 2027 and 2028 classes already. We are offering and going after mostly 3 stars, what happened to the big game hunting? All of these schools will also be going hard in the portal with them having better pitches. I’m just concerned with us falling behind and want to have an intelligent discussion about recruiting and where we go from here.
