Trinidad Chambliss court update
ArizonaLonghorn replied to THookem's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Consensus seems to be he'd likely be drafted much higher in 2026 than 2027 given the limited number of top quality QBs coming out in '26. Basically a huge drop off after Mendoza to Ty Simpson to ?. In '27 the big dogs right now look like some combo of Dante Moore, Arch, Julian Sayin, Sam Leavitt, maybe LaNorris Sellers or Mensah if he lights it up at Miami, and of course whoever takes an unexpected big leap (Mateer? Stockton? Maiava? TBD?). -

Trinidad Chambliss court update

QBs are over drafted to the NFL pretty often. I'm still puzzled the Colts took Anthony Richardson as high as they did a few years ago. I bet Chambliss is a 2nd round pick at worst if he gets drafted in a couple of months. -
This seems pretty open and shut. Take your ass to the NFL

Texas will be a lock at 9-9 barring a bunch of conference tournament upsets -

I wouldn't, but just me. His floor spacing requirement is a key part of the offensive success of Texas. Opponents game plan to not let him get clean looks, so he's defended out to 25 feet. He's a double figure scorer on average for two years running in the SEC, and plays to his role. -

If enter the 2026 NFL Draft, Chambliss is viewed as a talented but somewhat "raw" prospect (1 season as high-level starter). Anothjer year of eligibility could elevate him from a mid-round pick to a "QB1" contender for the 2027 class.

I think a 10-8 conference record will make us almost a lock. 9-9 could do it if we somehow beat Arky or Florida. -
No, no three digit numbers.

So did he end up signing with UGA in Feb if the charges were dropped in Jan?
