Really great way to get fans uninterested in college football. Would be a disaster imo. -

Emmett Mosely V Every play

This is what I'm saying also. One of my favorite plays was him blocking a db into the kicking net. He's a terrific zone beater, its just his ability to separate from coverage was a little concern. To be fair, in terms of accuracy( ball placement) his qbs didn't do him many favors. Maybe it'll show up for us, I'm hoping it shows up for us. I like his game, he's a glue guy. -

The biggest impact on game outcome Texas v Ohio State
LovingBuckeye replied to Bevo92's topic in On Texas Football Forum
The reason Ohio State fans aren’t concerned about the new OC is because we view Day as one of the better play callers in the sport, and will Be there to take over should something go wrong with Hartline. Hartline has learned from Jim Tressel, Urban Meyer, Ryan Day, and Chip Kelly so he’s about as well prepared as an offensive coach can be -
Question for the hunters on the board…
Blake Munroe replied to Blake Munroe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Tried to sign up today for pronghorn. It was closed as of yesterday 🫤 I did sign up for Abilene whitetail and Yaoakum mule deer today though. That puts me in four total at the moment and I’m sure I’ll do more. -
Emmett Mosely V Every play

I think he can give this team some of what JWhitt provided in 2023: toughness, downfield blocking, a reliable target on 3rd down who can get to the chains. But he’s also bigger than JWhitt, so he can also offer a big target in the red zone to make the contested catches. We don’t necessarily need him to be a deep threat, because Wingo, Moore, and Livingstone are already filling that role. Mosley adds several capabilities that don’t exist elsewhere on the roster. -
14 Days Until Kickoff — Who’s Your Favorite No. 14?

It’s amazing how many players from the 90s (and some even early 00s) have ZERO pictures on the internet. During this countdown it’s been easiest to find 2008+ and 1960s era. -
Nagy must be feeling the heat from having a recruiting class just inside the top 30.

Colt McCoy was ok.

Tyler Warren is a stud. But after that I think Helm can be as good as any

https://youtu.be/tvunGqDjzNw?feature=shared We've talked about the speed of Mosely here so I decided to go rewatch what he was able to do at Stanford. What I see is toughness, catch radius, sure hands, contested catch ability. What I don't see is burst, elusiveness, separation, or speed. Yes, I know Sark is a much better play designer and caller than whatever they have over there at Stanford. Nor am I looking for Worthy/Bond kind of speed, I just don't see the speed and quickness that has been used to describe him at times. That doesn't mean I don't think he'll be a player for us, because I do think there's a role for a player with his skillset. His tape just tempered my expectations is all.

Great takes from a Buckeye @LovingBuckeye. Thoughtful. I disagree with your statement that Ryan Day is a better coach than Sark simply based on rationale that OSU won last year H2H 28-14. That’s as oversimplified as me stating Sark is a better coach than Saban because we went into their house and completely dominated the Tide in 2023. Saban hadn’t lost that bad at home in 15 years. Sark has built a sustaining elite program, improving YOY over the past 5 years, growing from an abysmal 5-7 in 2021 to 8-4 in 2022 to b2b semi-finals in 2023 and 2024. OSU didn’t even make the playoffs in 2023. On a separate note, i appreciate you clarifying the OL returning starters at OSU. New OL coach and OC but theyve got some strength and experience up front. Agree with you that our front-7 on Def will make OSU’s OL job tough all day and Sayin’ will be facing relentless pressure nonstop for 4 quarters. That should be a key factor. i also think the change in DC and OC at OSU is a bigger deal than is being highlighted. hook em!! 🧡🐂🤘🏼 -

@LovingBuckeyeappreciate your insight and your respectful replies. It's really easy to be a jerk online. My prediction is a slow start for both offenses. I think both teams will struggle to move the ball outside of explosive plays. That could put texas up at the half or the buckeye WRs might make some splash plays. I think both offenses will pick up in the second half. OSU's lack of depth on the DL will enable texas to more consistently move the ball in the second half which should lead to points and the lead. This should force OSU into more passing situations where the texas pass rush should be the difference maker in the game. Ultimately i have Arch and the texas pass rush over coming a very balanced and talented squad at there house. I see texas running the ball and the clock to end the game rather than Arch needing to pull off a miracle in the 4th. Either way both teams are likely playoff teams. -
