1) Depth - I don't think that's much of an issue on this recruitment. Cooper will be there, the other two probably won't. Also him and Cooper have two totally different running styles. They would complement each other well. 2) Offensive Line - If I were Elko, I'd be playing tape of last year's Longhorn offensive line play. I'd be playing tape of the year before too. I'd also display a list of all the HS recruits since 2022 and ask him to name a single one that has developed into a stud. Goosby is the only HS recruit he could name but Goosby won't be there when he arrives. I would then ask to point out how many blue chip offensive linemen have been taken in recent recruiting cycles and compare it to A&M. Hell, there offensive line class this year beats our 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 class COMBINED. I would point out that the architect of that recruiting and that development is still employed at the University of Texas.

One of the 2 definitely beats out McCutcheon. Brown and Bishop are really slot guys. Lockett is the only guy that projects as a potential starter.. and he's still unproven. Yeah.. those 2.. have a tremendous shot at starting.. day one.

All 4 of those guys will play early, if they come here. Look at what's leaving and what we'll retain.

Here’s the trade details Miami gets: Giannis & Bobby Portis Bucks get: Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr, Kasparas Jakucionis(20th pick in last draft), three 1st round picks(2031,2033,#13 pick tomorrow), a pick swap in 2030, and a 2nd round pick in 2033. The official trade won’t happen until July 6th so there’s a chance someone or a few others get involved in to the trade.

I have been married to one woman for more than 45 years, worked for the same company for 42 years ,one month, 18 days and 4.5 hours. Was involved with three volunteer different things. Two of them for 12 years the other for 17 years. Two of the three at UT. I don't quit things easy but last week I cancelled my sub to one of the others sites for Longhorn coverage after many years and decided that I am a one site guy. Everything Bobby does is top notch, from the talented people to the vision of what a great site should look like. Just settling in , and enjoying it a lot.

Have 4 in terrace club (section 15T row 62). Newborn in the house this fall, so can’t make the weekend trips down to Austin from Dallas. UTSA and Ole Miss games spoken for, but all other games available. Let me know if interested.
