  1. Past hour
  2. Yes. It's for next year's draft. Draft eligible only.
  3. We've got some crazy pass rush capabilities this year. Hill, Spence, Moore, Simmons and hell even Burke. With the guys we added at the interior from the portal, plus a guy like January, they are going to cause a lot of teams fits. I also forgot that Hill was 6'3 235, lord almighty lol.
  4. Downs has improved since Bama, but not that much. Not buying the hype.
  5. Seems like someone is sleeping on Colin Simmons… that’s cool. His play will do the talking. Maybe they are only discussing draft elgible…
  6. Yep! For those who don't wanna read the whole thing... Thieneman, Michael Taaffe (Texas) and other very talented safeties would be candidates for the top spot in most years, but Downs is a rare prospect holding it down as the top safety and No. 1 overall player in the class.
  7. I actually see him more as an EDGE rather than an edge, but OK. We have lots of pash rushers at both JACK and BUCK plus Trey Moore at WLB....lot of pass-rushing mouths to feed for Hill to get lots of snaps as an EDGE. But bringing in Spence at MLB could free up Hill for some unique packages.
  8. There is a little shout out to Taaffe in the article
  9. Our pass rush is going to be dirty. Sayin’ “hello” against Ohio State.
  10. Came across this on ESPN this morning: The article goes on to say that Hill has a chance to be a top five pick in the next draft. Article is here: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2026/story/_/id/45772397/2026-nfl-draft-top-prospects-quarterback-edge-rusher-cornerback
  11. Difference is he was let go from the team just before and had a grudge. Wiley surely helped tcu but it’s on the coaches to have let his knowledge affect the game. This situation would be like Johntay texting Taurean York what plays we run.
  12. Looked up Graham's wiki and 6 seems to be a big number for him. Six years in the league with the Lions, in which he had 6 picks and 6 fumble recoveries. Very good safety in the late 70's for the good guys.
  13. Why would anyone pay any attention to that complete idiot Mike
  14. Today
  15. He was tired and grumpy. SEC media daze. Leave the old dog alone.
  16. Join us for Coffee and Football beginning around 8:15 AM, as we take your questions and discuss the latest on the Longhorns.

  17. We are now 36 days away from the Longhorns taking on the Buckeyes in Columbus for the season opener. Who is your favorite Texas player to wear No. 36? Some options today include... William Graham Unfortunately I can not find a picture of William Graham, William Graham played as a defensive back for the Texas Longhorns from 1979 to 1981. In 1980, he recorded four interceptions in 11 games. In 1981, he had seven interceptions in 11 games, tying the school record, leading the Southwest Conference, and ranking third nationally. His 11 career interceptions placed him fourth all-time at Texas. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 1982 NFL Draft. Lamaar Houston We will cheat a little bit on this one, as he also wore 33, but so we can have a pic today...
  18. Keep in mind this was on that Pansy Podcast with Commie Mike, who loves anti-Texas schtick, thinking it will help him in the aggregate market.
  19. Athletes are going to need to sign NDA in this transfer portal era. You transfer to a new school and share are calls/plays/signal, I am taking all your NIL money. The other side of being treated like an employee
  20. I agree. It's partially filling an obvious policy vacuum. A former USFL owner who can't resist. Thanks.
  21. Constitutionally speaking, there's really no foundation for the validity of the order. If the order purports to provide guidance to the departments of the executive branch about how to execute the application of federal law, the immediate response is there is no law. Conversely, if the order intends to establish a "legal framework" for departments of the executive branch to enforce legal restrictions established by the order itself, then it clearly violates separation of powers and is simply unconstitutional. Either way it has no chance of affecting the actual outcome of this saga. It's pure theatre.
  22. Barstool forgot the "A$M" after Texas. Wrong team, Barstool! Hook 'Em!
