Lol, this made me laugh

Regardless of the bowl site or opponent, I’m viewing it as a glorified exhibition in our first look at the 2026 team. Between NFL opt outs and guys getting ready to enter the portal, the Texas roster for a non-CFP postseason game should look a lot different than what the Longhorns put on the field against Texas A&M.

Depends on who enters the portal. Definitely IOL,a RB, a over the ball DL, DB, IL, punter, kicker, probably award several current walkons.

The SEC essentially assigns their bowl teams to certain games. At last check, I’m expecting Texas to be in the Citrus Bowl if the Longhorns don’t make the CFP.

This is HUGE and expected. At least for me. How can we NOT go to 105 while other programs are? Certainly the whole OR grabbing WR talent may have woke the SEC higher ups up! So what happens with WO's? Are they eliminated or we get 20 WO's in ADDITION to the 105? Inquiring minds!

Very sad situation. I feel badly for the kid. Let him go play where he wants to. They talked about it on Coffee and Football this morning, too. Saw this on IG this morning…Guess we’ll see what happens!

I would assume it has more to do with a coaching transition and letting current players figure out where they want to be next semester than the team looking down their nose at a lower-tier bowl game. The group hurt the most by this are K-State’s seniors, some of whom I’m sure wanted to put their pads on one last time.

The only reason I hope we don’t opt out is bc it would mean somethin to get that 10th win for the 3rd straight season. 10-3 is a lot better than 9-4 (or 9-3)

Return is week to week. Judd knee cap takes time, Bri sprain ankle was bad, not sure on Aliyah foot injury.

Time to end bowl games, I used to watch all of them playoffs ended that. Texas should also opt out, its’s meaningless game.

We should opt out as well unless we can play ND or Miami. #13 should be playing #11 or #12. #13 playing #19 is extra meaningless

He’s been suspended from the team since August. Higher likelihood he ends up at Last Chance U than Texas. Unless Sark wants the DT version of Agiye Hall.

I actually think Willis McGahee changed everything about future pros playing in meaningless bowl games.

I bet we get in the mix for this one. Don't see Sark overspending since he's basically an older HS prospect without significant college playing time.
