Honestly, I feel the same way. The portal is going to be wild for us, and being active in every area might be exactly what we need to reset things. And you’re right—this season isn’t beyond saving. Taking down South Carolina and ending their unbeaten run would be something this team could hang onto forever. Moments like that can shift the entire vibe of a program. Hopefully, the players and coaches regroup and get their mindset right heading into Arkansas. There’s still a chance to finish strong if everyone locks in.

Makes sense. Sometimes a team needs a few tough losses to spark a real culture shift, just like Georgia did with Bama. If Texas uses this the right way, 2026 could look very different. The players who stay will be the ones ready to fight back and earn their shot to return the favor.

Kirby is going to get his. This is what Texas needs. Georgia took multiple ass whoopings from Bama until they got sick and tired of it. After these 3 beatings... and however this team finishes, we will see the real CULTURE in 2026. I think you'll have a bunch of "kids" that will be motivated to kick ass. I like it... keep it up. One thing that is very Herman-esque is supposedly hiring an elite OC to be HC and then ending up with horrid offenses. Really damn annoying. I pray Sark hires an OC that runs an offense that college players can execute. I'm over the Sark system. If he can't give up OC duties we need to get a new HC.

I still can't believe Tom "Mensa" Herman beat Georgia in a meaningless bowl game and Sark has 3 cracks at it, been blown out twice and screwed the pooch on the other one.

IMO the biggest issue Texas has is they do not have a physical RB and G/C/G. So my question is which players in either the portal or HS recruiting should Texas be Targeting? At RB Amari Latimer would be a good fit, currently committed to Wisconsin. Dont know about other positions.

Sarkisian needs someone who will audit the program with an honest assessment and be a heavy hand. Honestly he could use Gary Patterson again. It won’t happen but I would love it if Saban came around somehow if Sark asked him.

Sark develops players and wins games. He may not be having the season he wants this year but he’s light years better than Herman ever was or will be IMO. Look at the talent Sark has brought in and the developed from what he inherited from Mensa. It’s not even close, plus don’t even get me started on the eyes of Texas BS.

That nail was put in the coffin last night. Honestly it started with OU beating Alabama. Texas only had one play and they got clapped instead of fighting.

If we get blown out at home to Arkansas that won’t go well with the people that matter. This better not happen

Building and sustaining are different modes of operation. Sark has to successfully transition to a sustaining model. He can't talk about building anymore because he's been here 5 years. He owns it now. He can either sustain what he has built or he cannot. We will see.

I'm seeing reports of former Longhorn DB Kris Boyd having been shot in New York. It's my understanding he was in critical condition in the latest report. Let's band together and help in any way we can. Pray for his family...and for him to pull through.🤘🏿❤️

Yeah once Sark's script gets used up, it's like he has no idea what to do. I'm starting to come around to this bend but don't break D that everyone's talking about. I like PK but he rarely ever wants to attack teams. The first couple of TD's from Georgia felt like lay ups and after that they finally woke up and started playing and then once they scored again to go up 21-10, it felt like the air just left their lungs. I think PK's problem is there are too many cooks in the kitchen, if that makes sense. Also think he puts too much trust in his passing game coordinators to handle the secondary.

This will be a repeat of Vandy without the 4th quarter drama.

This might actually be true. Like most coaches he's stubborn to a fault. I think the even bigger problem is, he doesn't think anything is wrong.
