Thanks for the numbers! Do you think this kind of turnover makes it easier or harder (than pre-portal era) to predict how good teams will be? First instinct is it's harder, just with all the new faces. But on the other hand: in the old days, your unknowns were your own backups from the previous year(s), who you'd known *about*, but they didn't have any college experience or tape. In this portal era, when we're talking about these top teams, their new faces likely already have college tape. So, perhaps there's more data now, to project how the top of the sport will perform, than in the pre-portal days. Thoughts?

Easton Royal on campus today Easton Royal, and possibly a handful of offensive 2027’s are making UOV’s today. Obviously, weather will greatly impact this. As far as defensive prospects, Texas is working to get a few on campus next weekend. The next recruiting deadline is period begins Monday, February 2. It goes through March 1.

What a clusterf....🤔. Some things don't add up if there is a buyout in a contract and the player opts to take that option and move, regardless of when they sign the contract. That would present a big problem between any enforcement by the NCAA or another group for tampering with the legal system. I don't know if Luke's contract had a buyout and think that is tampering if he did not have one, otherwise it is a real mess. The NIL and portal are huge problems the way they are set up.

Just be careful on that. Your car will slide and if you walk on it you might do some Minnesota Break Dancing. 🤣 When we lived out of Texas I used an awful lot of salt on our driveway and sidewalks in the winter. One driveway was on a steep slope and forget it trying to go up or down when there was any ice. That salt really helped.
