Michael Early Confirmed to be returning next season for A&M.

1. Alberts didn’t want to pay $3m to make his own mistake (hiring Earley) look even worse 2. Alberts knew he wouldn’t be able to hire a decent HC before the baseball portal opens on Monday, because all the good HCs are still playing right now. 3. Aggy believes keeping Earley will prevent a mass exodus of players to the portal on Monday. Just like last season when tons of aggy players entered the summer portal until to return thanks to NIL raises and Earley being hired. Aggy baseball is like a never-ending spiral of stupidity. -
Top 5 Defensive Lines in SEC - Texas #2
MarkInAustin replied to Bevo92's topic in On Texas Football Forum
No one would have predicted OU and UT to have the top two DLs in the SEC in their second year in the conference. Someone might have predicted the newcomers' QB strength from history, but not DLs. -
Didn't he start out as an RB? Played at Grapevine HS, I think. I'm looking forward to seeing what Terry can do.

Heard Bobby and CJ discussing on the Saturday morning discussion. 🤘🏼🐂🧡 -
Trev Alberts is the anti-CDC. Coaches leave his low trust culture as fast as they can find a better spot or in Buzz Williams case, any alternative was better than staying at A&M. Hard to understand the original decision by Alberts in hiring an unproven Michael Early but even harder to understand the decision to retain after he went from #1 in the country with highest NIL of any baseball team in the ncaa to completely left out of the 64-team regionals. https://www.kbtx.com/2025/05/30/texas-am-retain-head-baseball-coach-michael-earley/?outputType=amp

Excellent in depth analysis of Top 5 defensive lines (actually top 6) going into the season. Texas ranked #2 primarily due to our elite edge room starting with Colin Simmons but also Trey Moore and Ethan Burke. He mentions Anthony Hill as the other real threat, all of whom will make the DT job a bit easier. With all the solid DT transfers (failed to recognize Watson), he sees Texas as one of the best defensive lines in the nation and clear #2 in the SEC. Bama, LSU, Florida and Georgia all made the list behind Texas. OU ranked as the dominant and clear #1 best defensive lines in the SEC. https://youtu.be/WuUDw-fZiW8

henry melton was no where near the prospect justus was out of high school
-
Tommy Harris played I think just over 300lbs. with quick first step. Tough now in SEC where more weight is needed inside. Trust our coaches to put Terry in best position Let's dream he becomes like Aaron Donald

I predict he will record a sack against Georgia.😄

Burke has a chance to take the 91 honors this season for sure! -
not with THAT kind of NIL...IMO this one sticks for at least 1 year

Henry Melton = Justus Terry

If Terry ever weighs more than 305 during his time at Texas I would be shocked. -

You’re right. A little bigger. I sat next to Oscar, who was wearing a white tank top t-shirt, in the stands at the state track meet held at Memorial stadium around 1990. Dude was rock solid tank. -

Don't hear many references to HPU. My wife and I both got our undergrads there. Small world. -

There’s three races in the Grand Finals (max for any school is 3). Only 1 boat per school per race The 1st race is the Varsity 4s (4 rowers and 1 coxsman) The 2nd race is the Varsity 8s II (8 rowers and 1 coxsman) The 3rd race is the Varsity 8s II (8 rowers and 1 coxsman)) The Varsity 8s I is the biggest race and worth the most points the 4s are worth the least amount of points. Each race consists of 6 boats. Stanford will be difficult to beat.
