  2. Was told top Texas TE target Brock Williams will be sorting out his official visit schedule this week. So be on the lookout for a date set. Texas, UGA, and Ohio State are the top three. Asked a source on when we could see a decision ... "No decision date is set yet, but it will most likely be no later than May." OTF continues to like where the Longhorns sit in this one.
  3. I’ve been following Ohtani’s run too, and every time he does something wild, I end up double-checking matchups on Wunderdog because his impact on pitching and hitting shifts everything for betting. It’s one of the few places where the stats help me make sense of how to play games he’s in. His numbers make picking a side feel like trying to predict a comic-book character.
  4. Another one: Muschamp is recruiting kids that weren't yet born when he was DC here last time.
  5. It must make some of you feel so old that our starting QB was born in 2004.
  6. Who would’ve guessed its OL😂kyle flood is entering his Joc Pederson rangers days
  7. Today
  8. Texas vs Georgia State 1st round match will be televised on ESPN2 / ESPN+ 1pm Friday May 1st.
  9. Jelani keeps the safety room hopeful. Potential to be solid if one person can join him. I think that’ll be Xavier. If Jonah shows up or D-Will is healthy, it’s a good room.
  10. Are we a more physical team? Why? Are we more disciplined on the OL? Why? Is this OL built to execute Sark’s wide zone running scheme better than last year’s line? Why? Can this OL move the pile inside the five the way the last two lines had trouble doing? Why? These are the areas that take us from good to great.
  11. Can or Can’t? I thought the thing about the new kicker was he had NFL range. Doesn’t seem like Shipley had the range but he was accurate.
  12. I was talking about safeties.
  13. I butt my head against the wall with you kids for several things but perhaps the biggest is a comparison of a player or a position group to a standard that really doesn’t , or certainly rarely, exists. Yes, Goosby is considered top flight. But Baker and Robertson have been there before. Then you have Siani with considerable experience and achievement. That is about as good as you’ll get. Nevermind we have two guys with starting experience for LG. Miami was the standard last year, but they lost 3 games, were fortunate to make the playoff and had a relatively weak schedule. As for Texas last year, the real problem was that the veterans had too many misses while the inexperienced guys were trying to grow up. The exception was the Brooks experience. Then the skills guys missed opportunities that were available. I do understand people’s hesitation to be comfortable, but we have balance and depth across the board that is unsurpassed, certainly to a material degree.
  14. Seems clear that they need to avoid paying big until its proven. There's too much time and variability.
  15. OL such a tough position to make decisions on these days with the dead money risk. I don’t envy the staff.
  16. Magic was a really good defender in the first half of his career. He led the league in steals and was the first player ever who could defend all five positions. I'm not a Spurs fan, but I'd bet they'll beat OKC and then win the title.
  17. That's what I'm saying. We need a Sean Miller media availability session.
  18. I'm sick of this depressing thread. Does anyone have anything new about the BASKETBALL PROGRAM????
  19. That means 20% of line is set. I'm not sure where this "ton" of talent is. There is potential but none of the other guys around him have exactly lit the world on fire. Goosby is the only proven commodity. Of course there is concern.
  20. All good points. I'm just thinking big picture for the season.. what could go wrong. Maybe we lose a guy to injury and we're forced into starting an Atkinson or Cummings before they are really ready. Spence is a good thought.. I just don't know exactly how Boom will deploy him.. hopefully much more of a pash rusher than he was last year. Overall, my personal opinion is that we're in "good" shape with a few great pieces in the room. I'm not saying the sky is falling in the room at all, and I"m not afraid to have the freshmen play early roles.
  21. From my understanding: Florida and Tech pushed the NIL way up on this one. We really like Jackson Cook, who we see as comparable with less NIL required, Reed Ramsier is the other IOL along with KGH.
