  1. Past hour
  2. Reality is tough for some. The so called offensive genius has no clue what to do when his game plan and script run out. Arch looks worse than last year, Quinn regressed. We need a play calling qb coach in a bad way and sark seems to arrogant to realize it
  3. At least Niblett showed he could field a punt when allowed.
  4. Shut up man.
  5. Today
  6. Don’t fall for this bs. I’ve been thru the 3rd quarter. There are 3 plays in which Jesse chirped up. The first deep throw to Wingo. If you watch closely, you’ll see one WR had 3 bodies near him, Baxter was covered, another WR with two guys on him. Wingo had single coverage, got knocked off his route then did who knows what. The second one showed Livingstone getting knocked off his route so him hitting him off the break became pretty difficult. The third was a miss, but he got a completion. And we scored that drive. Theres been a hyper focus on this for whatever reason.. Nussmeier I’d wager, once again, is turning down open opportunities down the field but not much criticism. Penalties and drops were far more impactful.
  7. It was an uneven performance. Texas just hasn’t been what I thought they would be. Texas is and will be a work in progress. The Oline wasn’t impressive and the WR spot leaves something to be desired at the moment. Texas doesn’t have a running back that can do damage. I’m not impressed with this team. They better get it together because I just don’t see them being where they or we want them to be.
  8. Right now Wingo needs the be in the depth chart place of Nibblett and Livingstone is clear #1. Nibblett just needs to focus on punt returns and catching them so we don't lose yardage and hurt the offense. I really think we need to give some of the young pups their opportunity and see how they perform in meaningful game situations.
  9. Experience doesn't make you drop balls or run lazy routes.
  10. Same guy that also never once mentioned Worthy broken hand or the severity of Quinn's abdominal strain until after the fact. I truthfully don't expect an honest answer from him regarding this type of stuff because he protects the players to a detriment.
  11. Golden didn't even start for us until game 3 last year and ended up WR 1 by year end and a 1st round pick. Who's to say Livingston can't do the same?
  12. How is Wingo going to get experience?
  13. Nothing was said about Taaffe after the game. If he's dealing with anything, we should start to hear something on Sunday.
  14. From the postgame press conference today... Reporter: "Steve, the TV broadcast showed Arch grimacing a few times when he released the ball. Is that just something he does, or is he dealing with something?" Sark: "I don't know. News to me."
  15. Definitely not complete overhaul. Too much. Play caller and I think we are good. Sark has to grow and realize he has to grow into a manager and not coordinator+. Thankful for what we have at this point. Line is solid with reboot, tight ends are on point and Livingston shows coaches at WR know what they are doing. So far loss to excellent Ohio State team and 30+ point win while being sloppy.
  16. Do yall think it should be amputated?
  17. Why are people trying to continue to make this a thing? He wouldn’t be playing halfway into the 4th quarter against San Jose State if he was hurt. Period.
  18. My only complaint about Arch or several, is that he needs to start seeing the field better and I think more game time will help with that and he needs to be more consistent on drives and not just go for the big plays. We'll see how he progresses these next couple of weeks. My concern is those around him, too many WR drops and poor play there, etc. We had penalties from the OL and WR that brought plays back. Tons to clean up, but I'm certain the coaches know that.
  19. Hope January gets back. I was pretty disappointed with Kanu's play today, every time I saw him out there he was getting rag dolled or bullied. Might have been the worst of the bunch when it comes to DL transfers (my opinion). Everyone else there is really good. I've no idea who's doing those spin moves on the interior but holy crap were those exciting. Anyway, enough of my nonsense. Thanks for keeping us up to date, Jeff.
  20. Not sure why they’re trying to make this Arch hurt his shoulder a thing. If it was that significant, Matt Caldwell would be playing.
  21. I'm not going to lie, this is the second week in a row that he is grimacing when throwing like that. It also might explain his poor mechanics? But if he is injured, then it's a poor job by the staff of not seeing it and fixing it. Right now I'll choose to believe he's not injured and it's just people nit picking certain things.
  22. A lot of teams did struggle, that is true. Get the penalties down, be more consistent on O and establish yourself, that would be great.
  23. He just looks pissed that ball left his hand poorly. He knew he grounded it as soon as he slung it.
  24. Not that it doesn’t make Texas’ offensive issues any less significant, but after watching so many top 25 teams lose or struggle to win, I feel better about this season if the offense continues to improve and they clean up the boneheaded penalties.
