Only about 4 decades late for Austin and South Texas. I’m from SA and I saw Pink Floyd in ‘99 at the Alamodome. It’s not my thing but I support others’ choice who use it. That night, it was smokier than a football field when the kickoff pyro lingers. Man, it was crazy. I saw joints that’d make Cheech and Chong blush… Security didn’t bother anyone unless they were super, super obvious or acting out which means they were most likely on something else, lol. Good times.

I strongly disagree with the idea that Jesus drink alcohol. The Greek word for “wine” in Luke 7:33 & John 2:9 for instance (both connected to Jesus) does not specifically indicate alcoholic wine, but rather a product of grapes. Likewise, it is in insistent with other Scripture which warn of it and forbid in an alcoholic form.

Plain and simple. Some people like and use cannabis and some don’t. Alcohol is here and there’s nothing wrong with a few drinks either. I am however big on respecting the space when it comes to smoking weed and/or drinking. In your house and in your own space, all good. In a public setting with many people, be aware of the people and things around you. Trying to break down what hurts who and what is an endless debate and all of you need to find some good food to eat and chill on this great Tuesday. Hookem!

Alcohol is much worse for society BECAUSE it has been so widely adopted. It destroys families, increases auto deaths, crime, health care costs, etc. Far exceeding any economic benefit for the companies, shareholders and employees of alcohol companies. I'm not making judgements on anyone that chooses to gamble, smoke weed, drink alcohol or watch porn. I do, however, believe that all of those pretty obviously make society as a whole worse off. I'm not sure why this is so hard to understand or comes across like some hot take.
