  2. It will be interesting to see what they do with Dripping Springs, Westlake, Vandegrift, Lake Travis. They could swing Westlake either direction.
  3. For strictly 80s, I would include Family Ties in my Top 20s. So many of these shows bleed over from the 70's into the 80s and from the 80s to the 90s. I know Happy Days was partly in the 80s but I always think of it as a 70s show since the best of it was in the 70s, same for MASH and WKRP. For me off the top of my head, my favorite 80s shows, in no particular order, would be: Magnum PI MIami Vice Star Trek: The Next Generation (half in the 80s half in the 90s) WKRP (Straddled the 70s and 80s exaactlly) Cosby Show Cheers Family Ties (I had a huge crush on Justine Bateman) Charles in Charge (Nicole Eggbert another huge crush) Airwolf Night Court (might be one of the funniest sitcoms ever, and had the beautiful Markie Post) The A-Team Newhart The Fall Guy (Heather Thomas anyone. 🙂) Simon and Simon Square Pegs (very brief show, pretty influential) Spenser for Hire Growing Pains 21 Jump Street Hill Street Blues Silver Spoons
  4. Pretty interesting data here, thanks for sharing
  5. Cheers Super Dave Osborne Show Married with Children Charlie’s Angels (featuring lifetime Longhorn, Farrah Fawcett)
  6. If your list doesn’t include Saved by the Bell, I don’t want to see it.
  7. I hope they move Texas City we be gotten out butts handed to it’s the past few years lol
  8. Haven’t heard of it 😁
  9. All these shows remind me of my first marriage. We didn't miss many. We had no kids. I was a high school teacher and baseball coach, my wife was working her way up the corporate ladder. Mainly great times. We were too young and stupid not to weather the storm. One of my biggest regrets to this day.
  10. R&B was outstanding. Actually used a Mr Peabody and The Wayback Machine reference last week.
  11. It's the UIL..... ALWAYS expect the unexpected. What you can also expect: some head scratchers.
  12. 9 AM you'll want to go here: https://realignment.uiltexas.org/
  13. An interesting analysis on 4th down decisions... Runs counter to the notion that Sark doesn't take the points enough. Last year was his most conservative year at Texas. https://cfb4thdown.com/team-tendencies
  14. Yep my apologies you are correct.
  15. Are we anticipating any “major” shakeups?
  16. TGIF with Full House, Step by Step, Family Matters, etc was the best!
  17. Texas High School UIL Realignment Day Thread This is a very big day for Texas high school athletics ... it's UIL realignment day!
  18. Today
  19. Rocky and Bullwinkle Show for writing too. Everett Edward Horton. The Smothers Brothers spoke true comedy to power. Only lasted one year. First year of Saturday Night Live. Many future Stars.
  20. I’m about the same age and agree, but some of those are 90s!
  21. Have you been to the Cheers bar, Gerry? Family Ties and Cheers were great! So many great ones! Not ranked but shows I watched/liked… Diff’rent Strokes, Alf, Three’s Company, The Facts of Life, Golden Girls, Who’s the Boss?, Growing Pains, Silver Spoons, The Wonder Years (late 80s I think), The Cosby Show and The Love Connection lol. Thanks for making me feel old this morning! 😂
  22. If you are including late 80s… wonder years was great
  23. I’m only 6 years younger @Gerry Hamilton but this list seem very different than yours. 1. Seinfeld 2. Simpsons 3. South Park 4. Cosby Show 5. Full House 6. Family Matters 7. Rescue 911 8. Step by Step 9. Perfect Strangers 10. Boy Meets World
