Why do we even need a committee? What are they useful for? The clearly don't have a better understanding of college football than the average viewer. It doesn't matter who you beat, it matters what your record says and apparently how you look in the eyes of the committee, cause there is no argument for Notre Dame above Miami other than "eye test".
As for an outside shot at Texas making it in the playoffs:
- UGA wins soundly against Bama, props up our SOS.
- OSU wins soundly against Indiana, props up our SOS.
- Tech wins against BYU, that would put us above BYU I think.
- Duke wins the acc at 8-5 and shows that the ACC is a joke of a conference.
Don't think we're getting in but these are the scenarios to even have a small chance at getting selected. Cancel all future blue blood OOC games, they only hinder your chances at getting a 10-2 or better record.

Last line is WILD 😂, although I agree that BYU should be in the spot that Notre Dame is, even if the B12 is absolute doo doo.
Funny how "Wins and losses matter" and "Who you beat matters" apparentely applies to anyone but Texas.
If OSU and UGA win their conference championship game we'll have played both the winner of the SEC and B10, who are by far the best conferences in CFB. I think that should mean something.
Still think we have a very slim chance but I don't think we have 0 chances of getting in.

If the committee doesn't push Bama out in a situation where they get handled by UGA then why do we even play these conference championship games? Are they gonna become just exhibition games?

This is “persecuting Christians”? Come on man!! They just lost all credibility and are now out of contention for that statement.

ND considers themselves Christians. That statement wasn’t for football reasons.  Mormons crave to be considered Christan in its truest form.  They know the church won’t accept them so they want society to do it for them.
