So maybe I missed something or don't understand, but if conference championships don't count against a team, then why would byu be out of the playoffs with the loss today? I only mention that because with that logic then why wouldn't Texas jump bama if they lose to Georgia?

They have a solid defense but high level offense have they played this year?! Definitely can’t say BYU is a top level offense…..
