My.bad post. I'm not defending another site, but that sort of title shorthand seems like a good idea on a busy board. Then a reader can determine/infer the tone (positive or negative info) of the thread before they click on it. On the surface, it seems helpful. What is dumb about it? What am I missing? Quote

jarrodw Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I don't really care for him as a person, but he makes plays that leave you speechless and shaking your head. Quote
OTF12024 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 And the same type of play making results in an interception. He had to throw the ball that resulted in a touchdown. He didn't have to make a great play that resulted in an interception. The first play allows the Bears to extend the game to OT. The second led to a loss. 1 Quote

The tradition isn't dumb per se, but at least before I cancelled and moved here, the way it used to be enforced and taught was needlessly pugilistic, which in my view was mostly an offshoot of that generally being the culture of that board anyway.
