  1. We already knew that. That’s why it’s being asked about a lot. Basically it’s wait and see mode atm with him.
  2. Yup true. I really hope it ends well for everyone.
  3. That’s not a bad perspective either honestly. I do have trouble with the treating delicately part, because that just rubs me the wrong way. If you need to be treated delicately, linebacker isn’t a great spot for you. But yea ok I’m done until more information comes out lol.
  4. Maybe it’s just a matter of perspective because I’m not all that much older than Smith.
  5. You aren’t making any sense. You’re just saying words to try and discredit and ridicule others comments.
  6. That’s true, but it’s also true an off hand comment on a message board shouldn’t rile you up so much. I made it plain that my opinion was based on undetermined facts, and yall acted like I was calling him a scumbag.
  7. Thank you. I’m getting flamed for having an opinion on a 20 year old.
  8. If I had known it would turn into this I never would have said anything. I have my opinion, which is that someone who signed a contract and was paid shouldn’t back out of said contract. Doing so shows a lack of character. I only said he’s not quite a good kid, because I was replying to that comment. You can exaggerate what I said all you want and call me a fool trying to confirm my status, whatever that means, but facts are facts.
  9. Then why’d you bring up my kids in the first place if it’s not a good comparison? (I don’t have any btw) You can get in as deep into it as you want, but the fact is he signed a contract and agreed to play for a lot of money. Backing out of that shows a flawed character. I’ll keep repeating it though, that might not be the case, in which everything I said is moot.
  10. If Muschamp indeed promised him first string no matter what then sure.
  11. I feel like I’m arguing with a wall.
  12. Yes I know. I stated a hypothetical and then got in an argument.
  13. Ok? The person in question is 20.
  14. Rojo no one will take you seriously if you keep making obtuse counterpoints. Instead of being stuck on the “good kid” aspect, focus on the character issues. I would talk to them about integrity and the importance of keeping your word.
  15. Depends on the context. I would have a conversation with them if it was something similar to this. Like Alex said, we don’t even know if it is the case. If it is, it shows a lack of character. If it’s not the case, then it’s a non-issue.
  16. Dude I do not care about that. I was talking about the absurdity of using drinking age as an indicator of maturity.
  17. I was replying to a different comment that said he thought he was a good kid, and I simply said if he quits after adversity (if that is indeed the case) then he’s not quite a good kid. I think you’re making this was more of an issue than it is.
  18. Yes I know I even stated in my original comment that was only applying to if this were true.
  19. Look if you give up on your team because you aren’t first team then that is very much a character/egotistical issue. I’m not sure how removed from 20 you are, but they are adults and should be held accountable. Also, If we are using age legality as an example, they are legally allowed to die for our country, which is a bit more adult than drinking a beer.
  20. Lol we can agree to disagree here. 20 is not a child. Idk why what I said struck such a nerve with you to react so vehemently. If what is being implied is true, he skipped out on practice and a scrimmage due to immaturity. That shows a lack of character and idc if that makes you “sick”. Grow up.
  21. He’s such a good kid he quits at the first sign of adversity. (If that’s indeed what happened) I’ll eat my words if it’s different
  22. I mean he didn’t scrimmage so not sure how they would have kept it under wraps
  23. Lotta stuff being said online. Looks like we just need to wait and see.
  24. The flu was for other players.
  25. Idk if I would say extremely serious, as that brings to mind things beyond the game of football, but yea serious for our team.
