If enter the 2026 NFL Draft, Chambliss is viewed as a talented but somewhat "raw" prospect (1 season as high-level starter). Anothjer year of eligibility could elevate him from a mid-round pick to a "QB1" contender for the 2027 class. Quote

I'm still puzzled the Colts took Anthony Richardson as high as they did a few years ago. I bet Chambliss is a 2nd round pick at worst if he gets drafted in a couple of months. Quote

Consensus seems to be he'd likely be drafted much higher in 2026 than 2027 given the limited number of top quality QBs coming out in '26. Basically a huge drop off after Mendoza to Ty Simpson to ?. In '27 the big dogs right now look like some combo of Dante Moore, Arch, Julian Sayin, Sam Leavitt, maybe LaNorris Sellers or Mensah if he lights it up at Miami, and of course whoever takes an unexpected big leap (Mateer? Stockton? Maiava? TBD?). 1 1 Quote
