A judge in Cleveland County, Okla., has granted Owen Heinecke a preliminary injunction, which will allow him to play at OU for the 2026 season. The NCAA had previously ruled against his waiver for a fifth year of eligibility. He had 40 tackles and three sacks for OU last season. Quote

I was on varsity golf team for one semester as a freshman at college in Colorado and after my long circuitous route to UT, I was unable to even walk on to try and make team since my eligibility would run out at the end of that year. I had to settle for winning the intramural golf tournament. Big whoop! Quote
