Yeah, it's not a lost cause for Texas. Peterson has a pretty significant asking price. We'll see what the Astros do.

Usually my rule of thumb is unless your LSU, your drafted recruit is gone.

I believe that a team only receives a compensatory pick in the following year's draft if they fail to sign a player selected in the first three rounds.
