You should do some research on the effective tax rate in FDRs time vs other time periods in US history. Way more deductions available then.

Baker Mayfield’s persona is just a detriment to himself. He has to always have a chip on his shoulder. Then when you are the top dog, the whole chip on your shoulder thing becomes a transparent act that’s difficult to convince others and yourself of. 

The best athletes and coaches like Jordan, Kobe, Brady, Mahomes, Saban- they’re just out there respecting their opponents but looking to beat the crap out of them, and also looking to continually outperform themselves and literally be the best. 
 

I do respect Mayfield (I actually have a love hate/respect relationship with the Sooners), but I think he’s immature. It’s annoying to us and a detriment to his ultimate success
