Well that ain't happening, salaries are slotted by draft pick per agreement with the NFLPA. He'll take what's offered, knowing that if he outplays his contract (spot in the draft) he can make big $$ on the second contract in 3-4 years. Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown from the 2021 draft is a good comparison, dropped to round 4, # 112, I think 17th WR picked (something like that).
