TexasDeathStar Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 @Gerry Hamilton any idea why Texas hasn’t offered this kid yet? He’s a local of mine, so I hold a special place for him lol. But he just broke the state, and national record for shotput and threw a 74 ft and like 9.75 inch throw. Kid has VERY quick with athleticism for his frame and size. And has every other offer in the country it seems like. Absolute stud Quote

TexasDeathStar Posted May 14, 2024 Author Posted May 14, 2024 (edited) The kid landed at number 8 all time in the shotput furthest throws as a 16 year old. That list includes Olympian’s etc. he’s very explosive Edited May 14, 2024 by TexasDeathStar Quote
GoHorns1 Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 The only board that counts is Texas football staff, not some recruiting service board 1 1 Quote
GoHorns1 Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Be patience, Kyle still evaluating the 26 class Quote
HenryJames Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 He’s a great prospect. His dad threw the shot for Missouri and won an Olympic silver medal. He needs another 7’ to break Michael Carter’s national record. Quote
ZachD123 Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Is Ty Haywood not a take for Texas? Highly ranked on most sites, and haven’t heard a lot about him. Quote

Lnghrn Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Didn’t I read today that Texas is evaluating him? Quote
justwinbaby Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Texas is in a good spot for top in state OL prospects in John Turntine and Koa Katoa from the Metroplex in 2026. Along with another OL prospect in Midland and Houston area in 2026. Quote
