Tuco Ramirez Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Love that response. “We got rid of all the anchors, now we have straight oars.” 3 Quote
horns96 Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 I've been following Texas Football and recruiting since 1995, and Christian Jones is one of my favorite players ever. Perfect illustration of perseverance and coaching leading to development and changing student-athletes' lives. Other examples would be a fun conversation for the doldrums of summer. 2 Quote
HookemTexas Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 The big difference between Sark's tenure so far is the guys that stayed with the program that weren't "stars" before were able to make it to the NFL and be drafted higher than they projected. Like Byron Murphy, T'vondre Sweat, Christian Jones. Contrast that (not to throw stones) with the previous regime where 5 star can't misses ended up going in lower rounds and very few draft picks. 1 Quote
