Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted June 8, 2024 Author Moderators Posted June 8, 2024 Interesting note on Hines ... The first time Steve Sarkisian saw Hines play in person was his sophomore season at Dekaney. Sarkisian and Brennan Marion attended the Dekaney vs. Eisenhower game to watch commit Ryan Niblett and former commit Jonah Wilson. Hines was the best skill player on the field that night. 9 Quote

Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted June 8, 2024 Author Moderators Posted June 8, 2024 He already made an OV to Arizona State in late April. This one will come down to Notre Dame, USC and Texas - should the Horns push for a commitment. Ole Miss continues to try and get him in June 21-23. Hines SEC offer list during the process: Florida, Texas, Missouri, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Oklahoma and South Carolina. 1 1 Quote

Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted June 8, 2024 Author Moderators Posted June 8, 2024 It's an interesting late development ... OTF had been mentioning Texas was trying to get him, and Hines had informed us that it would likely be June 21-23 (or to Ole Miss that weekend). I really like that Texas has him on campus. 6-1, 190-195 with his speed and frame is rare. Fast and powerful skill athlete that plays with toughness/physicality. 8 Quote

Jerky Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Thanks for the info. Wow, 10.45 100M, 10.53 100M (3rd) and 20.71 200M (2nd) Elite speed, 6-1 with length at 190 as a Jr. Explosive highlights. No surprise Hines has a great offer list. Underrated as a prospect by 247, ON3, Rivals and ESPN. Rare combo of measurables. Has upside at WR and DB. Could be fantastic on TX special teams. Hope TX has room and tries to take Hines as a WR/ATH since he may prefer WR. 2 Quote
