Helmet Communication for Saturday

Steve Sarkisian in his Thursday Zoom availability said Texas LB Anthony Hill Jr. will be the one wearing the green dot indicating helmet communication with Pete Kwiatkowski and the Texas defensive staff.

Not too big of a surprise, but the sophomore backer will be tasked with communication to begin the season.

PK in the booth this year with the comms or on the field. Hasn’t he switched that some over the years? Started in the booth then came to the field to be more involved. Maybe back to the booth now that he can relay in real time?

QBs on offense with the communication is expected so I assume all three QBs will be connected. However, defense is different. How many defensive players can be connected? Can they be on the field at the same time? If not, when Hill is on the sidelines, will they use the old system of signaling in defenses?

Only one player at a time.
