Moderators Blake Munroe Posted September 15 Moderators Share Posted September 15 Another week, another victory for the Longhorns. In the end, the Horns were just too much for the Roadrunners, as Texas is now 3-0 after a 56-7 win. It was a game that saw Quinn Ewers come out due to a strained abdomen, a quick scare with OL Kelvin Banks, a big man rumbling and stumbling pick six and an Arch Manning coming out party. Weigh in with your thoughts, comments and questions and celebrate in this thread!
Huskie1
Sloppy in some places but Texas depth showed for a big win! Lots to keep working on and ways to get better

4thandFive
Arch is gonna make rookie mistakes; but he’s the best backup QB in the country. He might be the in the Top 5 of the SEC QBs already anyway.

goattalk100
Not that it matters AT ALL. But I will say given how Georgia looked against a team that lost to South Carolina 31-7 in the previous week, we should realistically be ranked number 1 tomorrow. Interesting to see how that plays out.
Fico2.0
Disappointed in Traylor's team. Lots of extracurricular I didn't expect from a Traylor coached squad. Doubt they get rescheduled anytime soon which is a shame. Edited September 15 by Fico2.0 2

Migas & Fajitas
Would be interesting to know what was said at post-game handshake. also, did my eyes deceive me or did it look like Sark ripped into McConaughy about something at beginning of the game? I hope Texas isn't ranked #1 this week just because Georgia struggled with Kentucky. I'd rather have Georgia ranked higher 19 October. Georgia at Bama in two weeks will probably determine the ranking for the showdown. Edited September 15 by harveycmd

jkates
Crazy that we lost our QB1 early in the game, yet it still ended up being a really fun atmosphere/game. Special group of young men. Get well soon, QE.
