@Bobby Burton - following up on your talk about penalties this morning - here is what the stats show. I broke down the penalties by the P4 conferences, and then everyone else. (Note these stats are complied by the Team, not necessarily the crew calling an out of conference game). 

The Big 10 calls by far the least amount of penalties; while the SEC calls the most penalties, and most severe penalties (most yards per penalty)

BIG 10 (124 Games)

Avg Penalties Per Game: 5.37; Avg Yards per penalty: 8.71; 

BIG 12 (134 Games)

Avg Penalties Per Game: 5.78; Avg Yards per penalty: 8.70; 

ACC (150 Games)

Avg Penalties Per Game: 6.1; Avg Yards per penalty: 8.85; 

ALL OTHER CONFERENCES

Avg Penalties Per Game: 6.43 Avg Yards per penalty: 8.77; 

SEC (124 Games)

Avg Penalties Per Game: 6.85; Avg Yards per penalty: 8.97;
