pinkman_90 Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 The fact that this game isn’t 35-0 is a testament to our QB. 4 1 Quote

Chop Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Was he just trying to throw that into the ground and Tre caught it for some reason? Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 So many stupid people in this thread playing the blame Quinn game as usual that we’re not uup by 20 points. 1 Quote

pinkman_90 Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 What a joke. Terrible play from Quinn followed by a terrible call from Sark. Quote
f1revo Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 This is what happens when your QB can only consistently complete screens. Good God. Quote

Touchbacks instead of starting drives from inside/around the 10 is the best case. Worst case is a turnover and gimme TD for the other team that will happen sooner or later. Quote
texcoyote15 Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Way too many huge negative plays with this offense. Rolling along good then get behind the chains and then they know they can pressure Ewers. Quote
JMarquette Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 We are running it down their throats and we go to the screen? 1 Quote
WestlakeLonghorn Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Our ceiling is so limited with Quinn. We’ve won games in spite of him and not because of him. 1 1 Quote
Shmatt Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Can sark for the love of god stop with the screens. Him and Quinn are costing us points Quote

ArchMania Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Leaving a lot of points on the field today fam. Hope our D can keep us up by at least 2 scores. 1 Quote

Him and Quinn are costing us points That's the only play Quinn can consistently execute. We've tried throwing more than 10 yards down the field a few times and the ball is just nowhere in the zip code of the receiver. Quote
Moderators CJ Vogel Posted November 16, 2024 Moderators Posted November 16, 2024 Simmons and Moore combined for a sack. 2 Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Two guys down there and they still can’t get the ball down at the one yard line 🤣 Quote

Well, if the game is mostly designed for a passing attack, and if the QB has made several underthrows to open receivers and hasn't been close on anything deep, and if the QB can't scramble, and if his lack of deep throwing threat makes us dependent on short dinky routes, then how is it not on Ewers that we aren't up another 10 points at this point? Ewers hit a couple of guys wide open downfield. His other long completions were on a slight underthrow that was tipped into our receiver's hands, and a tight end screen. I mean, this has been a very pedestrian showing by Ewers so far today. You could very well be right that Manning won't make us better in the second half, but you have to admit Ewers has not been sharp at all. 1 1 Quote

MarkInAustin Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Why is QE so inconsistent on his long ball? Mental or physical? Quote

We were hitting explosive plays like mad when Arch was playing. Those vanished when Quinn came back. It's not some grand mystery..this offense is hamstrung with Quinn at QB. He too frequently just doesn't get it done. 3 Quote
