Neil Leininger
I like the idea of having a true NBA talent at the wing position, even for a season. This team is really missing a guy like Rice, since Horton is just bad. Johnson, Weaver, Scott, and Johnson will form a really good rotation at the guard and wing spots, room for one more lead guard if Johnson isn't ready, and by the limited minutes he's had so far in the Big 12 play, he isn't ready. Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted February 10 Author Moderators Share Posted February 10 I can say that Texas loves Devon Pryor. He’s that 6-7 college wing that the Horns need badly. You add him, essentially since he’s left HS early for a development year, and Texas has big guards/wings Tre Johnson 6-5.5 Cam Scott 6-5 Devon Pryor 6-7 That’s three talented additions to the 2024-25 team with height/length. Think the staff will hit portal for PG (that can shoot it well enough), and some big man toughness with enough skill
