Kicker from The Woodlands that Texas offered a couple of weeks ago. Not sure Texas will be taking a kicker this year though with Auburn set to return.

We need a kicker. Auburn does not have the range that we need.

Scott Starzyk likely to end up at Michigan, he told me a week ago it was unlikely he would end up at Texas this cycle despite some conversations.

If Texas adds a kicker, I would be it is out of the portal.

"Roll Left" to Derek Lewis for the first Big XII Title versus the Children of the Corn, 1997. Great call on fourth down, great catch and clutch throw by Longhorns QB JB!!!

The Godfather of Soul. A brief serious note -- in 1968 I was an eighth grader and a young American sick of the assassinations I had already experienced. As a high school senior I did research that showed something too few people heard about... James Brown went ahead with his show in Baltimore the evening of the assassination of Dr King in Memphis. The Mayor and other leaders credited Brown with calming the audience. His inspiring remarks from the stage kept a lid on the emotions of the concertgoers and the volatile crowd gathered outside of the concert hall.
