Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted December 4, 2024 Moderators Posted December 4, 2024 Couple of late night nuggets * Continue to feel good on 4-star++ ATH Michael Terry *5-star OT Michael Fasusi 60% signing with OU tomorrow. If Bedenbaugh doesn’t end up being retained, could be an issue for the Sooners. Fasusi talked with both OU and Texas more than once today. * Continue to feel good on 4-star LB Kellen Wiley *Still a prospect committed elsewhere that is in play for Texas. 28 Quote
kirktex Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 (edited) @Gerry Hamilton Is that prospect committed elsewhere likely to flip to us? Edited December 4, 2024 by kirktex Quote
EHoff99 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Would be pretty shocked if Fasusi doesn’t end up at OU at this point. Doubt they would get rid of Bedenbaugh Quote
Bevoguy_248 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 When will we know if Bill is being retained or not. Fasusi is signing tomorrow isn’t he? Quote
Rule 76 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 GH, you think Fasusi holds off signing until a decision is official on BB? Quote

Whether Bedenbaugh stays or goes, being an OL in an Air Raid offense can't be better for NFL development than Sark's offense. Edited December 4, 2024 by southpaw 4 Quote
DMO Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 (edited) We talkin’ Malcom Simpson as the mystery man? DL coach heading to FSU.. Edited December 4, 2024 by DMO Quote
qaertyisthatdude Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 I would hope the next potential surprise flip is a mystery DT, but who knows? Quote

I think no matter what OU is screwed. If they let BB walk then they lose Fasusi and possibly a few other OL. If they don’t allow their new OC to bring his OL Coach he has always worked with and force BB on him then I think they are screwed. (If I was their new OC I wouldn’t have accepted the job if they told me I had zero say in who I work with. Especially if I had other options, which Utah was working to sign that guy) Either way they are screwed cause Venables ain’t the guy….i hope they sign him to another long extension that they can’t afford a buyout on. qaertyisthatdude Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 If Fasusi doesn’t come to Texas, Texas will be fine. Trust Sark/Flood on that. They’re in the running for the Joe Moore award for a reason. They have a plan, and the results on the field these last two seasons reflect that. 3 Quote
CoachBobbyFinstock Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 (edited) Texas needs another d tackle. Hope that’s the surprise. Edited December 4, 2024 by CoachBobbyFinstock 2 Quote

DanielOnorato Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Does Fasusi really want to go to a losing program where he'll get smashed? In my opinion sheer stupidity to go to Oklahoma. If he does, transfer after a year or two. Who else is a real threat in the sec? I wouldn't extend a big money offer if it's Oklahoma. Allocate resources next year if he doesn't want us now and is really a need. Quote
