Assuming PT is his motive he must have been told that Texas expects to bring in at least two MORE DTs in the portal who will be expected to be ahead of him. Assuming that message from the staff and the level of confidence it would signify, it makes me think they know who and what they are getting. AB is a smart man and saw the incoming freshman and type of portal DT will go after and decided to move. 3 Quote

Whether this kid makes it to the NFL or not, he will be a success at whatever he is doing. There are no more "kids" in college athletics. They are semi-professional players. Quote
ThatHornsGuy87 Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 This is how you should leave a team. Respect AB. Go be great 🤘 Quote

Jordan91 Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 You really know you have a great head coach, and assistants, when a player praises them, after they tell him it’s going to be hard for him to see the field here. He left happy about his time here and hopeful for the future. Sark has also mentioned how bad he did not want Murphy to leave. Murphy praises Texas whenever he is asked about his experience. Sark may not have the national championship yet, but it’s clear he is the right coach for Texas. 1 Quote
cmk4pres Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Some kids are Aaron Bryant, others are Johntay Cook. I will always be rooting for AB. Go get it. 1 Quote
