Both teams will be undergoing final walkthroughs later today.

Texas went through essentially a walk-through on Monday with no pads on for their allotted practice time at Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Steve Sarkisian:

Says the plan has been to stay the course. From week one on August 31 to the SEC CG to the Playoff. Continue to stay the course and prepare the way that Texas has all season long.

Kenny Dillingham: We are going to face one of the best teams if not the best team in the country, coached by arguably the best offensive mind in the game.

Sark on the benefit of the five newcomers (early enrollees and transfers) working with the team in Atlanta this week.

"They are awesome humans. The exposure they are getting to our team and rapport... the biggest advantage is we get to practice with a scout team and not have to do cross over work like we did for the Clemson game."

Dillingham says he spoke with some NFL GMs who believed the 2nd most important piece in an offense similar to his is the tight end.

Sarkisian reiterates the same. Most important player in the system after QB in his system is the tight end.

Sarkisian was asked about the biggest example his quarterback showing leadership at some point this season. Points to the 4th & 2 against Arkansas where Ewers pulled an option and ran over a defender for the game-sealing first down.

"Probably the emotion coming out of Quinn... was indicative of how much our team values him and how much he wants to win for the team."

Dillingham on the confidence of his players this week: Sam (Leavitt) probably thinks he can beat Michael Jordan, because that is Sam. Skat probably thinks he is the best running back in the country, because that is Skat.
